The facility is not easily found even with GPS since the final leg of the journey is on a narrow and not clearly marked street. However, the challenge of driving here was well worth the experience. Upon arrival, you are eagerly greeted and feted and provided with a map and all the possible information that you might require during your...

The reception was extraordinary: we got a glass of port and the girl at the desk explained about what to do and see on the map of the town. Our room was more than ok, but was in the basement of the old wing, which means you don't get much light. Probably perfect in summer, but rather gloomy on rainy...

We rented an apartment for a long weekend. Everything was perfect, from the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed with a glass of port and some orientation from reception staff. All of the staff we encountered were absolutely lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We had excellent restaurant recommendations which all turned out to be amazing. The apartment...

We visited as a party of 4 adults. We had an extremely warm welcome. The staff gave us very detailed suggestions of where to go and eat. Most of these we followed but as a very fussy family of eaters we deviated somewhat on the restaurant suggestions. The whole weekend was fabulous with plenty to do and see. The hotel...

As previously discussed, steep cobbled streets and almost impossible to drive to without prior knowledge -and driving through reception into the car lift looks fun! Great staff, very welcoming with glass of port and detailed instructions with maps etc. Apartments clean, well-equipped, nice bath and good air-con. Mini-bar very reasonable -beer 1.5 euros, excellent. Easy walking to old town, and down...

The staff here were extremely friendly and welcoming. The apartment was well appointed and they provided a baby cot for our son. Breakfast was included which was nice even thought the apartments are self-catering. The apartments are convenient to all sites but are accessed by some steep alleyways - pushing a push chair there was good for the fitness levels.

Great reception from Patricia. Well appointed rooms with extensive facilities. Parking to be experienced! Location right where you want to be. One of the friendliest hotels you will come across. Don't miss it if you visit Porto.

It is a great place to stay with unmatched hospitality. A special word for the reception staff, particularly Maria and Mario, who went the extra mile whenever a service was requested. The catering staff was also very good. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Location is excellent.

We had high expectations about this hotel, since we'd been there a couple of years ago and it was great. The first time we had a huge duplex with kitchen and living room downstairs and lovely big bedroom upstairs, very smartly appointed. But this time round -because the hotel was packed, so they said- we were given room 001, in...

We spent two nights at Vitoria Village while on an excursion from our vacation (based in Lisbon). We were originally going to stay one night, and decided that since we really loved Porto, we wanted to add on another night. The staff made the accommodations without hesitation, though we did have to change rooms - we didn't mind at all,...
