My husband and I travel a lot and usually stay in chain hotels due to their reliability. However with Porto over New Years the budget didn't stretch that far! Neither of us were disappointed with the guesthouse. The location is a short walk to the city and is far away from the bustle. There were two downsides to the stay...

Excellent hotel, a huge plus is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The room was a little uncomfortable for a family since the home is an older but beautifully redone home, but rooms are awkward in design and did not provide some privacy given the design of the two bedroom rooms. The rooms with one bedroom were much nicer....

If you, like us, are on a certain budget but hate to compromise on quality, then definitely book the Cosme Guesthouse. We stayed for just a few nights but loved it. We were a party of 3 friends who stayed in the Klees Room for 3 nights B&B in September 2016. Be aware as you approach down the street, that the big...

Nice B&B in a traditional area of Porto. Everything is in walking distance and some nice typical restaurants are in close proximity. The room was really large and I loved the high ceilings and the great A/C. The breakfast is average compared to the price.

Such a nice, friendly place. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast, very, very friendly staff and owners. Best place in Porto. We were made very welcome when we arrived and offered lots of help and information on how to travel around Porto.

The Cosme is situated in an area of Porto currently being heavily rebuilt, so when we left the Metro we were a little taken aback to see the roads being dug up and a general air of mess etc. However, within five minutes we were at the guest house, knocking on a huge white door and being invited in and...

Nice rooms, friendly stuff. The big disadvantage for us was an extremely small shower. Also the see sound isolation could be better. We had our room on the ground floor under could hear every single step in the coridor. The guests we're not loud, we could simply hear people leaving or entering the house. The breakfast is good for the...

It is evident when you arrive why this place is rated highly on Tripadvisor. Just a 5 minutes walk away from Campo 24 Agosto is this little gem that's quiet but close to the highlights of the city. We were greeted by local wine and biscuits, and was promptly shared the highlights of the city, recommendations for dinner and how...
