Hotel staff is very professional and supported us very well to make our stay excellent. During weekend the hotel vicinity is fulfilled of Bom Jesus church visitors and is quite difficult to find an available parking slot in front the hotel. To access to the hotel area (parking lot) you have to pay 1$ tool in the control access point machine. We left 23 times with our car and we had to pay 23 euros in total.. This is expansive just because we are hotel clients!!! The breakfeast is really poor for a 4 stars hotel, in terms of available quantity of food.

Wonderfully situated hotel, on top of a hill overlooking Braga, right next to the beautiful Bom Jesus do Monte church and its magnificent Baroque stairway. There is (limited) free parking right in front of the building - you will get reimbursed for the 1 Euro you pay at the entrance to the parking lot a bit further down the hill. The hotel is classy yet modern, with a minimalistic and well-kept interior. After a professional (yet somewhat lengthy) check-in by the receptionist, we entered our huge room. The bathroom area is integrated into it in a way that might make it a bit difficult for people seeking privacy, but for us it worked perfectly fine. The bed was large and comfy, the quiet surroundings made for a deep and undisturbed sleep (the church bells don’t ring during the night). We appreciated the chic furniture but needed some time to figure out how the many different light switches were connected to the actual lamps. The only real downside was the breakfast: served in a not too inviting room, with unwelcoming staff not caring about COVID rules (allowing some guests to help themselves at the buffet without using the mandatory gloves). The selection of food was also mediocre at best, the quality even worse. A bummer in a hotel which we would otherwise wholeheartedly recommend.

The rooms and bar areas were great, only issues were the check in time of 4pm and the location is a good way out of town. Although the staff did everything they could to help. Breakfast was basic, however it did the job. Overall good value.

Nothing significant to complain about at this place and location. A bit complicated with privacy at the bathroom when showering. The acces during night, fog and rain was not straightforward. The ventilation system dries the air, while no window for restroom creates humidity.

This is a very beautiful place to stay, and it has many nice areas to walk around. Our room had a problem with the water so the employees promptly relocated us to a suite. I will definitely stay here again if I visit the area in the future.
