We have had a lovely week at this hotel although the weather has been mixed which we expected for the end of October. We had a garden room which was nice but felt it was 4 star rather than five. We were disappointed that the beds were twins and made up separately whereas in some hotels there are twins but... More

The hotel is unique in its style and set in beautiful gardens with a bar restaurant and in the manor house a fine dining restaurant. The massage in the spa with hot stones was wonderful. There is a lovely lounge area with a library where you can borrow books. The breakfast is comprehensive with a wide choice of breads, cakes... More

We thoroughly enjoyed 5 nights at Quinta da Casa Branca due to the beautiful garden setting, high quality breakfast and lovely swimming pool areas. And yet a few niggling points that took the shine off a true 5* experience - no welcome drink for tired thirsty arrivals, a lunch menu that is tired, poor quality and sorely over priced and... More

There is little I can add to the other excellent reviews already on these pages. Today is our last day here and our 52nd wedding anniversary. The waiter has just knocked on our door and presented us with a welcome bottle of bubbly and a lovely note of congratulations. Such a nice touch! It is so fantastic to have a... More

Excellent hotel with beautiful gardens and attentative staff. The perfect hotel. Second time my wife and I have stayed here and everything is spot on. Close enough to Funchal but location is so quiet and peaceful. We would recommend it to all discerning couples.

It is already sometime since we came back from Funchal, however,Quinta da Casa Branca it is coming often in our minds as one of the best places we have been in! First of all, a fine piece of architecture: combining new and old buildings in a whole with a lasting beauty. Surrounded by beautiful garden, carefully maintained, is a real... More

Having eaten at the restaurant at the Casa Quinta last year we decided to try their restaurant at the old Manor House which wasn’t open when we were last in Madeira. We sat outside on the veranda as it was a lovely warm evening. The setting is very pleasant – looking out onto the gardens. The old Manor House is... More

Having already been twice to the Quinta da Casa Branca with my husband, I could not think of a better place to take my daughter to for a truly relaxing treat. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the garden, pool and tranquility. Every member of staff is a credit to the hotel and I'm looking forward meeting them all... More

My wife and I stayed at this Quinta on the recommendation of close friends and were not disappointed. This was our second trip to Madeira and apart from a few spots of rain enjoyed fine weather for the whole week. The level of comfort in the room was very high with a particularly generous bathroom and an overall feeling of... More
