Stayed here one night while in Sintra. Easy to find/walkable from the train station. Lots of stairs but they will carry your bags for you if they are heavy. I had a room in the attic. It was spacious with a great view. The bed was two twin beds together. The pillows were the best that I have slept on... More

We stayed here for three nights in order to do various touristy things in the area. The big downside is that in common with all of Sintra, there is no car parking. The hotel is very helpful in explaining where you can legally park, mostly within a five minute walk. They can't do anything about the fact that not only... More

We stayed for three nights in order to celebrate a special birthday in Sintra and couldn't have chosen a better place for that purpose. We had had some transportational difficulties prior to arriving and were rattled and stressed. Rui calmly and kindly took everything in hand and sorted our problems wonderfully. The absolute best customer service experience we have ever... More

The online travel community has failed us—bestowing Excellence upon on an edge-of-town flophouse with a liberal sense of housekeeping. It’s heyday long past, Nova Sintra does not warrant today’s payday. If loose hair strands, stained linens & mysterious brown splatter on the toilet are your kind of thing, then look no further. I’m w/ the minority on this one: ignore... More

One of the best aspect of this hotel has been the ospitality of the staff, very helpful and efficient. The hotel is well located (not in the actual city centre but quite close to it) and the look a bit old style. On the other side the room we had on the last floor was big and the view incredible... The hotel is only 2-star as they don't have a lift or a night porter but they make up for both with their perfect service. Very tasty breakfast with a choice of eating outside if the weather is warm enough. Pleasant room with all the necessities; pity we didn't stay longer.

The staff here were really helpful and the view from our room was amazing! Could see the Moorish castle in the distance. The terrace outside is perfect to have a few very reasonably priced drinks and enjoy the view!

We stayed for two nights in August. You climb up some stairs from the main street to reception and they take you to a world away from it all. A lovely and spacious sun terrace with views towards the castle where we were met by a member of staff who checked us in. Not a very big hotel but what... More

We stayed two nights in July. Very nice family run hotel/b&b with very attentive service. Beautiful patio with a great view of the Moorish Castle. We booked a room on the first floor, but found the slight additional charge for a second floor room to be well worth it.

This was a perfect place for my husband and I. The people running the hotel are very helpful and accommodating. If you are tall I suggest you not stay in the attic as the low ceilings might be an issue. It is not in the center of the "old town" but it is about 15-20 minute walk. It is also... More
