    As good as I remembered!
    I stayed here 10 years ago (when it had a different name), and my memories were confirmed. It is a lovely, grand, slightly faded wonderful house turned hotel, with friendly staff and wonderfully large rooms and high ceilings. The bathrooms are not totally modern, but fit the feel of the house. The bed is wonderfully comfortable, and the grounds (and pool weather permitting) are a glory - like so much of Sintra.     This is an excellent accommodation. It is an old, but modernized and perfectly clean villa, with its own garden, private parking, and a wonderful scenic surrounding. Very good breakfast in a pleasant ambient. The two ladies at the reception were extremely helpful and kind! Thank you again for the quick dinner when we were in a hurry to get back to the airport late in the evening! In the morning we received very useful tips, how to get around and see as much as possible in the busy touristy Sintra. The possibility to leave the car in the parking, even after check-out was a huge bonus. If back in Sintra, would definitely stay here again.…

    Just beautiful
    150 year old pink building in beautiful grounds. You are transported back to a more relaxed time as soon as you enter the , rather tight, gates. We as a family just loved the place. Beautiful high ceilinged rooms with pieces of old furniture to compliment the style. Just wonderful gardens and pool, with a view to the top of the hills and the Moorish castle. Centrally located yet peaceful. Service unobtrusive yet charming. Its not luxurious, but somehow its perfect. I only wish we were staying longer.…

    Excellent breakfast, beautiful surroundings, parking spot, if you have a car, and very friendly service. All these at a very reasonable price. They have a pool. It’s within a walking distance to the center and train station

    Is the hotel open to general public
    I don't believe it is. They do not have a restaurant, so on this point no reason for general public to get in, and the pool is probably private for the hotel's guests. But if you have any questions, I would suggest to call them.
