Dreamy place with all the nature, quietness and very nice stuff. You even can hear the birds singing in early morning hours. Rooms were clean and old-styled design. For european-style seekers this is not the place but if you want to feel, remember and smell your childhood - this is the place. Really loved and we are planning to go...

The hotel has a feel of an old-school chateau, the garden was meticulous, the decor was fitting for Sintra and the parking was easy. We enjoyed our time here so much that we are trying to come back with a larger group.

This hotel is beautifully situated above Sintra, in a gorgeous garden with pool. Our room overlooked the garden, had a large bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast was pleasant, and served in a large common room on the ground floor. The only negative aspect is that it was quite cold. Central heating was not on and the single portable heater couldn't...

Lovely old country house with high ceilings, large rooms and pretty curtains. Very helpful English speaking staff. Great location just outside main town. Walked to Moorish castle from hotel. Amazing swimming pool, but sadly we were there in January, so the water was a bit chilly! Overall lovely place to stay.

Nice staff and beautiful garden. Good heating system and we did not feel cold at all. Overall, an OKAY stay considering the price we paid. The hotel is a bit run-down and I guess some improvements/renovations are in order. The room had this moldy smell, which bothered me somewhat. I think the ventilation system should be improved. It's 10 mins...

This hotel is a conversion of a large old house. We stayed in November, an off-peak time, and there were very few other guests. Our room was very quiet; there was no audible noise from outside. However, in high season there could be noise from other guests. The building is old and creaks a bit. The room itself was large...

We stayed here for two nights and were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. It is an old house with a beautiful garden and outdoor swimming pool. The furniture is old but comfortable and the bathroom had been refurbished. Breakfast was simple but the service was excellent, hot toast and croissants brought to the table and tea in a...

Great vintage hotel, with pool and great vegetation all around. Very affordable and right in the center of town. You can see all the palaces and go to town and have a drink or just walk through the souvenir stores.

This hotel was booked as part of package through Portugal Walks. It is an old manor house with a restaurant and lounge in the lower level, We had a room on the first floor overlooking the terrace. Basic room but clean, with two beds (double and single), desk and a couple of chairs, and bathroom. Hotel service was great, Walter...
