Overall a nice place to stay - but be aware it is a bit of a walk into the main areas where restaurants etc. are. Either way it is a walk up & then down hill (or vice versa) depending on if going to old town or new town. We stayed 2 nights and the 1st night our room was...

We spent 2 days here and loved it. We were welcomed with a sherry by a very friendly staff member, who was friendly and helpful the whole time we were there.. We walked up 2 flights of stairs to a large room with a balcony. Great views of other Sintra attractions from the balcony. The inn is on a corner...

I found it really hard to find somewhere to stay in Sintra, so ended up booking this place based largely on the recommendation of Alistair Sawday. It's the most disappointing Alistair Sawday place I've stayed in, but it's okay for a night or two at a push. It's cold firstly, which I think is a basic thing for a hotelier...

Bit worn but beautiful and rustic home. Loved the spacious suite room and it's views. If you are an avid hiker, it's day hiking distance from the mountain castle and walls. Enjoyed my solitude but same time home-like feeling there. I liked it bit less picture perfect and more authentic. :)

Beautiful older house, spacious room, near access to transportation for visiting the hilltop castles. Excellent breakfast with prompt service. No elevators, so be prepared. Quick taxi ride to Lisbon airport. Lovely grounds with views. We'd stay here again.

Cute little hotel outside from the main area of town. It’s a bit of an uphill hike to get to anything—either the main touristy part of town where the National Palace is, or the area around the train station where some of the better and less touristy restaurants are. Street parking was fine. Hotel appears to be converted house, and...
