Big shout out to the staff at Nice Way. Would recommend for travelers who enjoy a relaxed and inviting environment. The guys are great and helpful. Our computer was stolen from our car earlier in the day and they made sure we had enough beer and chill time in the garden, recommended a nice local Portuguese restaurant and lent us...

As soon as we arrived, a staff member gave us a lot of priceless information about the sights in and around Sintra. He also showed us some excellent hikes in the park. Great location in the city (5 min walk from center). Dorms and bathrooms are clean. The included breakfest is also good (toasts, cereals and coffee).

We arrive in Sintra after a week around Portugal. Sintra is truly magical. We spent 2 nights here. The hostel is close to the center but in a very quiet location and this has allowed us to relax after the long walk of the day. Pleasant atmosphere in the common areas. Room was spacious and clean, relaxing environment in the...

Me and my daughter(17) stayed here for 4 nights and was very happy with our choice. The hostel is located near the centre, 5 minutes walk, and the rooms are clean and cosy. We had a private room and shared a bathroom with only one other room. It's an old house so you can hear if people are noisy in...

We visited Sintra so I could celebrate my birthday in the atmospheric grottos the Quinta da Regaleira. to our astonishment, the room we booked actually looked out over the Quinta, and the Pena palace was in sight as well among the wooded hillside views. The hostel itself is a quaint little mansion we could spot looking back across the valley...

I cannot recommend this hostel more highly! It is beautiful, clean and the staff is ridiculously awesome. They were so gracious, accommodating and inclusive. They made a bonfire at night and everyone in the hostel hung out around the fire, drinking port wine and getting to know one another. We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed...

This is a great hostel. It is clean, affordable, and run by people who genuinely care about their job and their guests. The gardens are a great place to relax, read a book, listen to music, or chat with others. There is a full kitchen to for everyone to use or the staff prepares a dinner almost every night for...

“My partner and I got a double room on the second floor which had 3 single beds lined next to each other, more than enough storage space, a writing table and beautiful overall interior design. There was only a tiny shortcoming - the heating system was a bit noisy at times, so it could be a bit tough on light sleepers, although I doubt they have it on once the weather warms up.”
