The hotel is very close to the town walls and entrance. It has been recently modernised. The restaurant looked good but we never used it. Breakfast was passable. Overall it is a reasonable hotel that isn't too expensive, in a town not overflowing with good hotels.

For a 4 stars hotel, and the recently experience we have had, I found the hotel a bit "tired". The Mix style modern and old Portuguese is not well matched. Small and clean rooms. Comfortable beds and pillows. Normal breakfast. Very well located in 50 meters from the gate that brings you into the medieval wall and city.

Hotel was very nice and we had a lovely room. The only thing we didn't we didn't care for was the lack of privacy in the bathroom as just a clear glass wall separated it from the bedroom. There was a tub with a hand held shower but no curtain enclosure. We had water all over the floor! A wonderful...

Excellent hotel. Everything is nice and clean. Very good location to visit anything that's worthwhile to see. Enjoyed very much their restaurant that is not cheap but very good. We enjoyed all that we ordered.

Hotel is conveniently located just outside the city walls. Half rooms are renovated; and we got renovated room. The room was clean and nice looking. Free car parking near the hotel is big advantage. On a negative side, we are big people, and the full size of European bedding was a little bit narrow.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel. Although our GPS couldn't find it, it's very well located just outside the city walls. The staff was very kind and hepful. Our room, which was very quiet and clean with a nice view - it's just that it could have been a bit larger. The bathroom was definitely too small. Otherwise everything...

I stayed overnight at the Josefa D’Obidos Hotel for a weekend of golf. The room was very comfortable. It was clean, brightly decorated and had a modern feel about it. The bed was snug and I had a restful sleep. Breakfast was buffet style. I felt it was a bit light on choices but generally ok. The service at the...

We stayed three nights at this property on the main floor. The room looked like it had been recently renovated because it had a modern look and updated bathroom. The WIFI worked well throughout our stay. The beds I felt were a bit too firm and the AC unit was finicky but the room was nice, had a TV with...

On a positive note the location is great and parking was easy outside on the road. The wallpaper in the rooms was glamerous and smart. Unfortunately thats about it for this hotel. We were first given keys to 109, upon entering the room the smell of must and damp was overwhelming. Reported back to reception who apologised and offered us...

We would recommend this place if you stop overnight in Obidos. It is just outside the walls of the old town with parking. We stayed in a renovated superior room that was large and comfortable and clean. Really good beds and plenty of hot water. Small but decent breakfast buffet.
