HF Fenix Music hotel emerges as a favorite among guests for its spotless cleanliness and high-tech, music-themed amenities, which include a rooftop bar and pool. Nestled close to the metro, central square, and shopping avenues, it offers an ideal location for urban exploration. While the rooms are celebrated for their modernity and thematic decor, some guests note their compact size. The service is generally regarded as attentive, although there have been occasional criticisms. Despite the extra costs for certain amenities, many regard the hotel as a good value, with an atmosphere that's both vibrant and contemporary.

Me and my partner stayed here for 6 nights at the end of May 2021 just before Portugal was moved into the Amber list.

Hotel - Clean and modern. Cool music theme throughout.
Very close to bus link and metro to the airport. McDonald’s 2 mins round the corner. Roof top pool was a great feature and the main reason we choose to stay at the hotel, however beware that there is absolutely no shade whatsoever up there and there are only 4 beds (which suit a couple or small group of friends) so you have to get up there early if you plan on sunbathing all day.
Bar was open..so you have an ideal of prices, it cost my partner £8.50 for a bottle of local beer and can of Coke. There’s a shop up the hill from the hotel and the bar staff seems to be ok with us drinking our own drinks around the pool.

Room - The terrace room which we booked directly with the hotel. The terrace was huge with a beautiful view of the city and two sun loungers.
Built in quality Bluetooth speakers in the walls and mood lights.
Room was cleaned everyday to a really good standard.
Separate toilet and shower in the room. Shower was powerful and came with shower gel canister on the wall.
Smeg mini fridge and kettle with tea and coffee however no milk included and there was a struggle to find any when I asked at reception.

Breakfast - A bit repetitive but something for everyone. Eggs could some days be stone cold and the pancakes rock hard. Due to covid you weren’t allowed to help yourself and the staff would plate whatever you asked for and bring to your table. Things get missed on occasions and you do feel like a nuisance constantly asking for different bits to make up your breakfast. However I will say that the restaurant Staff were great, very helpful and accommodating despite being rushed off their feet serving multiple guests at one time. Hats off to them.

I’d definitely stay here again if I was ever to visit Lisbon again. Good standard 3 star hotel.

We stayed two nights on a room only basis in late January, so cannot comment on the breakfast etc. Having looked at some older properties without breakfast online and with not too good reviews, we chose HF Fenix Music for just a few £s more per night.

To get to the hotel we used the local buses that stop at the roundabout near the hotel, Marques de Pombal, having bought Viva Viagem cards with simple to use zapping credit from the Metro station at the airport. We used this simple method to get around our stay in Lisbon, 10€ each bought the card and 7 bus journeys. It is about a mile and half from the banks of the River Tagus, about 30 minute walk or short hop on the bus.

The music theme of the hotel hits you as you walk from the street with red carpet treatment then onto the drumkit reception desk and nearby piano bar. The theme is carried through the whole hotel with wall to wall images through the corridors and stairs and on to the walls of the room where there is varied mood lighting, a sound system to link you device to by Bluetooth so you can play your own music, plus a small fridge and a tea/coffee making area.

Our Harmony room was comfortable and well furnished with enough storage. However, not shown in any photos is the open plan bathroom area with just frosted glass to the toilet/shower areas. Those sharing a room who are not intimate may find this a little uncomfortable!

The only staff we met were at the reception and they were all very helpful. Check in and out were quick and easy, just the City Tax to pay on arrival. They were also helpful topping up our tea/coffee, storing our bags when we checked out, and showing us the way to the roof top pool area, (via the left lift only). Although the roof top bar was not open, the pool was in use even in January and towels are available near the pool.

We’d booked to stay in the HF Fenix Music however due to COVID were moved into the Lisboa (1 min round the corner)

Staff were lovely, room was massive and cleaned daily and we were still able to use the pool in the music hotel which was a reason we’d booked it.

Breakfast was not a massive selection but just what you need to set you up for the day.

Walking distance from most places in Lisbon which was great!

Would definitely return.

First make sure you are in the right hotel, there are four nearby we went into the wrong one and were directed around the corner to the music hotel.
It have a music theme but it was still a working functional hotel, rooms had black and white keys theme but the shower was excellent bed firm good pillows tea and coffee and tv great size.
Local tv shows English tv programmes but substitles it and the first ten channels are football related.
All bars and restaurants show matches football universal language in Portugal
Breakfast 7-10:30 was encluded and a good range of hot and cold dishes which should suit everybody.
Too cold to use splash pool on roof but mush be great in high summer and didn’t have time for drink at bar.
Two minutes from metro and ten minutes walk down hill to city centre.
Staff very friendly, at cost and location I could not fault this hotel and would recommend again.

Booked rooms at Fenix Lisboa, but booking was changed (Without my previous consent) to the Fenix Music because of the CoViD-19 pandemic. NEVER AGAIN. This was a total ripoff. The room was so small there was nowhere to place an open suitcase and still maneuver to the minuscule bathroom. NO SEATING, AT ALL! No amenities what-so-ever. Staff barely managed to greet us in a civil manner. The very expensive breakfast buffet was a total sham, runny scrambled eggs and faux bacon burned to a crisp. Not tempted by the eggs I asked for toast and cheese. Got two slices of some processed stuff. Coffee, when it did come, was cold and not very tasty. Breakfast room staff surly and uncooperative. Vastly overpriced for what was provided. This was a 30 euro room, not worth the 125 euros charged.

Dear Zane, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We are truly disappointed to know we weren’t able to meet your expectations. First of all, let us tell you how sorry we are that you didn’t discuss any of these matters with a member of our staff while you were staying with us, as we would gladly resolve them. Allow us to express our bewilderment when you say your reservation was changed from HF Fénix Lisboa to HF Fénix Music without your previous consent, as we have no record of such situation. Indeed your reservation was originally made to our Hotel HF Fénix Garden, which is temporarily closed due to the current state of affairs, as appropriately informed in our email of May, 25th. In the same email, we also informed you that we would honor the reservation already made with an upgrade to our hotel HF Fénix Music. Please mind that this information was provided once more in our email of June, 4th. Regarding the room, we would like to clarify that this was not only assigned to you accordingly to your booking but also upgraded to a room with a private Terrace, as a way to compensate you for any troubles the change of hotel might have caused you. We’re sorry if you found the room too small, and we would have been more than happy to find you another that better suited your needs, have you conveyed your dissatisfaction to us at that time. Likewise, we would have gladly provided for any other amenities you might have needed, besides the soap, shampoo, and body lotion, that you certainly found in the wall-mounted dispensers in your bathroom. We confess we are a bit perplexed to know you didn’t feel welcomed by our staff. We know how hard they work every day to make sure everyone feels welcome, and their kindness and hospitality are usually appreciated by our guests. Nonetheless, we will take your feedback into consideration. It was also with great surprise that we received your feedback about the breakfast, which was included on your rate, since it does not correspond to our quality standards, and we haven’t received similar complaints during the time you spent with us. Nevertheless, your comments were duly noted and transmitted to the hotel management. Kind Regards, Ana Gomes, HF Compliance.

We are just back from having a lovely 3 night break in this hotel and we will put this hotel top of the list when staying in Lisbon.
When we arrived we were checked in by a lovely friendly receptionist Andrea. She made us feel so welcome and even let us into our room a little earlier which was a great bonus as we were so tired from travelling. She is such a bonus to the hotel as a warm welcome sets the tone for the stay. We also met a guy NUNO. What a lovely guy. He chatted to us at length while at reception, explained how to get around the city, made us feel so welcome, came to our room afterwards to explain electronics we had a problem with , and anytime we met him at reception he always had a smile or a moment to chat to us.Thanks Andrea and Nuno. Your kindness meant so much.
The hotel itself is fab, based around a music theme, The reception is a drum kit and the bar is a piano theme and the chill out areas around the reception are funky and cool. The roof top pool area is a lovely chill out space and we wish we had more time to enjoy it. The views around the city from it were awesome. Our bedroom was lovely great views , mood lighting in room, a smeg fridge and kettle, a rain shower, and room spotlessly clean. The cleaning was of a very high standard every day so a big thanks to you all for this service. The breakfast was a highlight in itself. Fabio was so good at his job, and always had a cheerful manner and a big smile despite being so busy. Nothing was a problem to Fabio. The breakfast was Amazing. It had the biggest variety ive ever seen in a breakfast, including make your own smoothie, pancake maker and Lovely coffee machine, and freshly squeezed orange juice.pastrys, ect. The manager at breakfast time didnt get her name was so lovely too. Made time to chat to you, and her presence provided a lovely ambience around breakfast time. There is a great music booth just outside the breakfast room, where we had a bit of fun after breakfast each morning, dancing to santana, .and playing guitars. A lovely novel idea. So thanks to all of you for a wonderful stay. We will definately be back. An amazing place to stay while in Lisbon.

Just back from our stay in the NF fenix music hotel. Absolutely amazing hotel! Fabulous interior decoration, rooms were a decent size and bed very comfortable the shower was very powerful, the room and the hotel were very clean and very well air conditioned even on the hottest days of 35 degrees. The rooms have very modern features which we really enjoyed. The breakfast was amazing there was a huge selection of everything from coffee, fresh Fruits, porridge, beans, cereal, juices, pastries, pancakes, eggs etc there’s literally something for everyone, the staff were constantly restocking and assisting. The rooftop pool was fab the views go for miles and the bar was very nice. Staff were available at reception 24/7 and very kind, our first night they helped us order food in as we got there late at night, they offer organised trips from the city and although we didn’t avail they seemed very reasonable. We very much enjoyed our stay at the fenix music hotel and will be recommending this hotel to family and friends! Thank you fenix music ❤️

Just back from city break with friends and stayed at the HF Fenix Music. The hotel was fantastic. The staff couldn't do enough to help us. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms are decorated in a very modern style. The bathroom is gorgeous but is unusual as it is open plan, but we managed with it. The breakfast was lovely and I particularly enjoyed being able to make my own smoothies and the various types of coffee available. The sightseeing bus is just across the road, so it is a great place to see Lisbon from. We didn't use the rooftop pool as the weather wasn't suitable but the view is fantastic from it.

My stay at HF Fénix Music was simply great. The hotel is new, the rooms are modern and with high quality interiors. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is really good. It is next to the beautiful Eduardo VII park and 100m away from Marquês de Pombal metro station. You can reach the airport very easily by metro. The historic city centre can also be reached by metro or with a 25min walk.

I want to highlight especially the breakfast. More and more hotels in Europe are using nasty convenience food with chemical additives. HF Fénix Music actually still has a real kitchen and real chefs preparing the meals for breakfast. This is healthier and it tastes so much better than convenience food. Furthermore the choice is incredible; you can even have tortillas and other meals that you would not expect for breakfast.

The value for money was incredible. I think even at hotels which cost a lot more you don’t find this level of quality and service.

Hotel with great location, next to the Marques de Pombal metro.
Large room, with minibar. You can connect Spotify from your cell phone to your room's speakers via Bluetooth.
I stayed in a room overlooking the avenue and at night I found it very quiet in terms of noise. This avenue is busier during the day.
Good breakfast, with the option of 2 coffee machines (one of them Nespresso) as well as brewed coffee.
On the top floor there is a swimming pool with a bar (I found the prices a little high). Location with a great view of the city

Yes, very easy. There is a metro from the airport. Take the red line to the end then switch to the blue line. The hotel is about a two minute walk from the marques de pombal station

I don’t know for sure. I was in Madrid last weekend and the roof pool was open but very few people using it. I think come October the season is winding down for that sort of thing. I’d ask the hotel. Seasonal issues do impact. We were in Sicily a few weeks ago, as well, and a nice hotel, turned out the restaurant which it is renowned for, doesn’t operate beyond early September. And the hotel was a long way from other restaurants. so seasonal factors can negatively impact albeit the weather can still be very hot.
