Very nice hotel, excellent rooms with large double beds. Very good service and breakfast. I only regret that it is too far from Lisbon center to go by foot. But an advantage is that it is extremely close to the Vasco de Gama commercial center with a lot of shops and restaurant at all prices. Another advantage is that the...

I've spent 3 nights at the Olissippo for a conference. Rooms are large and well kept, no many room facilities, but still the important ones are present. Helpful staff and good organization. Great position in the new part of the city (Oriente) and very close to the metro to reach the town centre

+ My favourite Lisbon hotel + Nice modern room, big enough, very comfortable and clean. Room are quiet. + I really enjoyed the big comfortable bed and nice well equipped bathroom. + Breakfast is cheap and really worth it - large choice and tasty. + Good location - mainly for business but also for city visits - close to the...

Stayed Sunday evening and Monday evening. Relatively modern hotel and a short walk from Oriente transport hub (Bus, Train, Metro). The hotel is situated very conveniently for the Airport and located in the area redeveloped for the City's European Capital of Culture award, in 1994. Unfortunately it looks like the area has not seen much improvement since. Monday morning breakfast...

We only stayed at this hotel as when we got to the hotel olissippo saldanha which we had booked 5 months before they had a problem with their booking system so they sent us here. We were not happy about this as this was not in the location we wanted but felt it would be better than trying to find...

We have lived here only one night before our departure to the airport. We liked the hotel. Good service, clean room. But the hotel has one drawback. Attention smokers! This hotel has no rooms for smokers! My husband had to go down the street to smoke, it is very inconvenient.

Hotel relatively new, we have stayed in a standard room which was just that, ordinary furniture with a mini bar and a small flat screen TV, standard room/bathroom sizes for this class of establishment, beds were kind of hard for my taste, the breakfast was nothing out of this world but with the basics, quiet rooms no noise from outside,...

We spent the last night of our 3-week holiday in Portugal at the Olissippo Oriente and loved it. We found the reception staff extremely pleasant and friendly. Yes, they do wear smart uniforms and suits, but this didn't put us off wearing shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops. Our rooms on the 8th floor were spacious, comfortable and very quiet. The views...

Staying in Parque das Nacoes

Neighbourhood Profile
Parque das Nacoes
This neighborhood was built up at the end of the 1990s mostly because of the Expo '98. The pavilions and structures that once were the home of all the Expo's attractions and exhibits are still culturally and artistically significant. In Parque das Nações you'll explore conference and concert pavilions, a shopping center, trendy restaurants and an enjoyable cable car ride you can't miss out on. On top of this, the amazing Lisbon Oceanarium (one of the most spectacular things you'll ever see in the city) will take your breath away: its respect and will to preserve natural wildlife is uncanny. Easily accessible by metro, bus or taxi from the city center, Parque das Nações is highly recommended for anyone who'll spend more than 3 days in the Portuguese capital.
