Really enjoyed my stay at Olissippo Saldanha. Found the room very comfortable and spacious, with a really nice bed, decent desk, comfy reading chair. The bathroom was also spacious and spotless, and the room had a little balcony too. If I had to make some tiny criticisms: the internet wobbles at times (but I was still able to do some work), the mini fridge could be a bit bigger and I missed having a kettle in the room. But, overall, I was very comfy.
The hotel staff is amazing and it was my birthday in one of the days I was there and they all wished me happy birthday, which was a lovely touch. Room service was friendly and efficient and they let me take breakfast to my room at no extra cost, which I appreciate. Breakfast itself didn't have a huge offer but everything was very nice, including nice freshly baked pastries every day.
The location is also great, kinda midway between the airport and the historic centre, felt safe and had the right amount of buzz - restaurants, bakeries, shopping centre, supermarket, but not crowded like the touristy areas. I was able to walk to the park Eduardo VII a few times, which was great.
I would say, unless you REALLY want something extra-luxurious or you need to stay right in the touristy area, Olissippo is a great choice. I will definitely be staying there next time I go to Lisbon!

We received tip-top service from this hotel, we stayed in Room 204 which is a large corner room with a marble bathroom. Great amenities and conveniently located. We ate at the Japanese restaurant opposite the hotel when we came in at 10.45pm and it was great. People are so efficient and welcoming here, it was a great pleasure and we hope to come again soon. Highly recommend.
One note to the hotel: some people need flat pillows, as it was late we didn't want to bother room service but having such a pillow in the closet would have been even better!!

Excellent location close to bars, restaurants, shops and the Metro, in an area of Lisbon that I prefer to stay as it's away from the main tourist areas but still has everything we needed. We stayed in room 304 which is a superior double room and being on the corner of the building, it has a balcony which I used on a few occasions. The room was fabulous - bright, airy, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The electric shutters on the windows kept the room very dark at night and I slept better there than I do at home. The room had excellent air conditioning which was very much appreciated as ther outside temperatures were quite high during our stay. There were 2 televisions in the room - one for when you're on the sofa and the other for when you're in bed. There was also a minibar and kettle. The bathroom was well appointed with a powerful shower and twin basins. The bathrobes and slippers provided by the hotel was a nice touch even though my daughter and I didn't use them.

Breakfast was of the buffet variety with enough choice of fresh pastries and breads to keep us happy along with the usual collection of yoghurts, fruit juices and so on.

I found all of the staff friendly, efficient and helpful and housekeeping kept the room lovely and tidy for the 6 nights we were there so a big thank you to everyone for helping to make our stay so enjoyable.

If you're looking for a good quality, quiet and clean hotel in a convenient location, I definitlely recommend the Olissippo Saldanha. I've stayed in a few Lisbon hotels over the years and this is my favourite.

The hotel is a 4 star category but there are things missing which are supposed to be standard. We stayed for 4 nights and though the experience was very good we always got the feeling something was missing. First of all, the hotel room does not have a coffee machine nor tea or even a small bottle of water for welcome. As we arrived we did not find any slippers or bathrobe and we had to ask for them. The pillows are also a little hard, but I guess this is not to be told. As for the breakfast, the buffet was very minimal with few and same option every day and it was not refilled on time. It is worth mentioning that the breakfast room is in the basement, so the feeling you get is a little strange. To the positive side, all of the staff was very helpful and kind, plus the cleaning was at very high levels. To sum up, the hotel is more like business style, good and very clean with excellent service, but not as cozy as you expect so that you enjoy an afternoon or evening after a big city walk.

Stayed for 6 nights. Our room was really spacious and the bathroom larger than anticipated. Decor is fine. Maybe would benefit from a little spruce up (bath sealant, skirtings). Bedding felt a little plastic. Air con was great. Nice area. Super handy for the metro. The nearest line is the yellow line but the station connects to the red also. It’s a 5 min walk to the red line once you’re in. It’s probably 20 mins from door to downtown. Few decent restaurants nearby

Excellent hotel , located in a quite district and a good 30 mins walk to nearest attractions. Room 602 was spacious and cleaned everyday . Breakfast pretty good but served in the basement so no windows . Staff really friendly and speak good English . The hotel is very close to major bus routes which took us into the main tourist areas and also to the airport which was cheap and very easy ( 2.5 euros each) . Would stay again in this amazing city

Room was clean and comfortable, we had the Superior which is a good size , large ensuite, and includes a small lounge area with sofa and small balcony.
In terms of amenities, close to the Metro station, many bus stops (best way to get around Lisbon), there is also a supermarket just a two-minute walk away; Continente on Rua Joao Mendonca. Which also has a bakery, so you can have your occasional early morning pastries and tea/coffee there if on a budget.
One trivial point with the room was the lack of tea making facilities in the room, but it was available via room service and at any rate, there are numerous cafes in the local area.
Friendly and helpful staff. Efficient housekeeping.
Would stay there again.

Nice, newly furnished hotel in a great location where you feel the atmosphere of Lisbon. Great service with really friendly staff, clean common places and rooms. Public transportation is very close, Airport bus stopes close to the hotel. Best value place, cosy and elegant without unnecessary hype. Please for a nice and quiet stay in this beautiful town.

Excellent Hotel in a very convenient location. While not in the tourist area, it is very convenient due to its proximity to the Metro only a two minute walk away. Very clean and well appointed rooms along with excellent service. Truly a great value. Breakfast was simple yet sufficient in quality and variety. Would definitely stay there again.

Everything about this hotel is close to perfect. It is a 30 second walk away from the nearest Saldanha metro entrance, yet on a quiet side street so there was little traffic noise. It's a 15 minute metro ride to both the airport and the tourist attractions in Lisbon. Rooms were large and very clean. What I liked most was the sliding door window that opened all the way and provided lots of fresh air (there's AC too, but I didn't have to use it during my stay), as well as the fully blackout automated blinds that kept the room absolutely dark even during the day (these can be partly closed to let some light enter if you prefer). Breakfast was pretty good, lots of fresh fruit. Definitely great value for the money,

No. The rooms have very comfortable king sized beds. The rooms are also beautifully decorated too. I would recommend this hotel.
