Beautiful guest house, close to transport & restaurants. We had a studio room and was elegant. Very relaxing place. Juan was brilliant, very hospitable & helpful, lovely guy! Nita did a wonderful breakfast. Thanks Juan Loved our time here. Raj & steve.
We stayed in the 'Atelier' with our two kids. The accomodation had lots and space and nice antique furniture. Bathrooms etc were more than ok. Breakfast is included, good value for money. Especially the warm welcome by Raquel and the hospitality and service mindedness offered...More
Nice and intimate place. We stayed in the studio.
There was a leak in the room next door and had to cut the hot water; the hotel reimbursed us for the night. Very commercial and professional! Very good breakfast. Highly recommended
Fantastic hotel. We had the the duplex studio which was simply amazing. On top of that the staff was very friendly, more like friends helping you out than staff. The breakfast was really good as well. We will definitely stay here when we come back.
Juan, the South African manager, was an absolute joy. We did all the tips he gave us around Lisbon and it was great chatting with him. The hotel is very pretty and everything is in order. Friendly staff and nice people. The area seems fairly...More

It is VERY close, probably a 5 minute walk. The metro is a great way to get you to certain areas of the city provided you don't mind looking at maps and doing your own head work in navigating the city. Uber is also a fantastic option for Lisbon. Super cheap. We used it in the evening when we just felt like being dropped off at the doorstep of our restaurant. (If you do that, call way ahead and make reservations at the restaurant -- the good ones fill up fast with no chance getting in without one).

We stayed in the duplex and there is one flight of steep stairs. It is nonsmoking but just outside the hotel is a park just a few feet away. A great bar just out side the hotel while nonsmoking is full of smokers. Lisbon is very hilly but the area around the hotel is flat. The walk to the central city is about 30 minutes.
This is a great place to stay.
