The apartment is fantastic, very well placed, good decoration and large space. You will find everything you need inside and it is also very clean. Very high recommended for families once the space and resources allow you to stay in a very comfortable way.

My wife and I love our city breaks over New Year, but this would be the first with our little man (18 months). With our new addition we searched for apartments as we needed the extra room to get the boy off to sleep but still give my wife and I the space to relax and not worry about waking...

We stayed in the 3 bedroom (T3) apartment on the top floor. Plenty of space for our family of 5 (2 parents and 3 teens). Great location, easy access on foot to the main sights. Metro stops (Baixa and Rossio) were just a few minutes away. Kitchen was equipped with all we needed for our breakfast and dinner each day,...

This is not a hotel but if you don't mind, it is quite acceptable. The location is excellent, just 2 blocks from the elevator and in the center of action with cafes, restaurants and shops everywhere. You can walk to the central square, Starbucks and the train station. The apartment, itself, is a decent renovation in an old building with...

Great location in the heart of lissabon. Close to everything! A huge apartment, very cheap. Cleaning service every day which is great. Modern and very fresh, a lot of light running through the apartment. Many rooms, we were five people staying here and we had lots of space

We did not receive room we reserved at least the picture on the booking did not reflect the apartment we finaly had. Cleaning was carried out in the bathroom only superficially. The living room / carpet was not cleaned. The sink was clogged, but was repaired at our request.

The check''in was supposed to be at 2pm, when we arrived at 2pm, the cleaning lady was just starting to clean the flat, she did it in 15 min... During 3 days, we had 4 or 5 trashs in the stairs, we saw one bed also. That was a bit dirty. The shower was broken Was not really as expected

We loved the location, it was close to several places of interest, full of restaurants and bakeries. Apartment was ok, with all that we needed. Wifi was not good at all Very convenient keyless entry to the building and the apartment - very safe.

across the street from a wonderful bakery with fresh bread and wonderful coffee in the morning (although if you prefer to make your own you are all set in the apartment and you can sit in your window and watch the busy pedestrian street below. Next door you have a wine bar with great tapas --it is family owned and...

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighbourhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
