Very friendly, simple rooms, we paid €52 per night and stayed 3 nights, room got cleaned every day. If you want more luxury, look for a more expensive hotel, if you want to budget, come here! The Neighbourhood is fun and eveything you need is close by.

Staying in this hotel in the middle of the Barrio Alto is what made my recent trip to Lisbon the success that it was. It is a very small hotel in a most charming street. I stayed for 8 nights and was very pleased with my acommodations. The room is not much bigger than my full size bed and the...

This is my fourth stay at this hotel, so it must be doing something right. I don't know why I haven't written a review until now. It was an integral part of my enjoyment of my recent trip to Lisbon and so deserves a review. Let's start with the basics. It's a gay hotel. Whatever that means?! It certainly is...

I stayed in this guest house on the end of March 2013. We stayed two nights here with my friend. It was introduced by the other hotel, because the one where we wanted to stay was full. We were glad that we stayed in this guest house for 2 nights. The staff were nice, especially the one who checked in...

Since you can see photos of all their rooms I requested room 2004 and spent six nights. I have no complaints. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and quiet though Bairro Alto is not. I had a lot of fun in nearby restaurants, spent New Years Eve at nearby Mirador de Santa Catarina and then celebrated at Portas...

At very low price we got what we payed for. If you are a budget traveler it's safe and clean. For greater comforts go elsewhere. The hotel is located high up in a shawowy area of Lisbon with a variety of bars and restaurants as neighbors - most of them not so nice. The staff was very friendly. The room...

We stayed 4 nights here while in Lisbon. It was certainly very cheap and value for money. The benefits were it was right in the middle of the Barrio Alto - the party area of Lisbon, full of late bars and cheap restaurants. So it's ideal if you want to party the night away and not have to worry about...

I stayed at Anjo Azul for one night and it was very nice. Not far from the airport (by taxi). The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The room was a good sized, with a very nice sized bathroom. It seemed quiet. While not a luxurious place, it was a great price in a great location (Bairro Alto), lots...

Let me start by saying the confrontation with the front desk guy on my second day here prompted me to change my flight and leave Lisbon thus leaving after 2 full days in the city....planned on a week. The incident happened yesterday but I wanted to wait a full day to let the anger subside. Let me also say that...

Great location, in the center of party area in Bairro Alto. We had a room on the first floor (204), quite small and dark, with wardrobe. However bathroom with bathtub was nice ;-) Place is rather for youngsters than for families with kids (photos of naked man on the corridor's walls).

“My room was on the 2nd floor in the front. It was quiet enough for me, but I understand it could be noisy in nicer weather when there are more people out late at night”

“The rooms from the second floor up (no elevator) and those that face the back of the hotel are very quiet. I would not risk staying on the first floor or facing the street.”

“If you can, deal with the woman during the day who is fantastic or the guy at night. Either one should let you see the different types of rooms....I can't imagine the day manager(guy) would. I really enjoyed the room facing the street.....there is no noise at night when the windows are closed. I stayed on the second floor.”
