We have had an absolute amazing stay in this hotel. Even though it is part of a chain it definitely also comes with this amazing boutique hotel charm.

The hotel is located in a great area in the heart of Lisbon. Around the hotel you will find plenty of nice restaurants and bars and the area is very vibrant. However, you won’t have any noise in your room as the isolation of the windows is top. The rooms themselves are arranged very tastefully and modern, with a touch of Portugal and have everything you need. Moreover, you can even connect your phone to some integrated loudspeakers and play your music around the whole room (also in the bathroom).

The breakfast buffet in the hotel was also VERY delicious with so much variety on vegetables, fruits, different cakes, different types of ham, bread (the list could go on and on) and everything tasted super fresh. Moreover, apart from standard warm egg dishes which you could order every day (scrambled, fried eggs etc) they had one salty and one sweet daily special, like fresh pancakes with fruits, or avocado toast with poached egg…simply delicious! The only negative is that you will probably come with more kilos back home than expected….as we always ordered a double portion :-)

But all these amazing features cannot compete with one, which is definitely the big secret weapon of this hotel: THE STAFF! I don’t think I have ever encountered a staff hotel which was more welcome, friendly and helpful than the one in this hotel. Everyone, starting at reception, at the breakfast buffet and so on, is constantly on their tip toes trying to make you feel as good as possible and fulfilling you any wish you may have. They will give you great tips for the day, they will make sure everything is to your absolute satisfaction, they are simply amazing. Of course, sometimes things can happen or occur during a stay, where the hotel is not necessary at fault but it can cause a discomfort for the guest. But in such situations, the difference which distinguishes a good hotel from an excellent one is how the staff is dealing with a problem…and I must say, the Eurostar Lisbon Baixa team is spectacular!

If you want to have a stay where you have always a smile on your face, cause you appreciate how nicely you are treated, and where you leave with a crying eye cause you know you’re not only finishing your holidays, but you will also no longer see this amazing team, then I would highly recommend the Eurostar Lisbon Baixa.

A big big thank you to the entire team for having made our stay so great! You are the biggest stars!!!!

My spouse and I had an extended stay at Eurostars Lisboa Baixa with some travel in between. We rate the hotel outstanding in every way. Rodrigo and the entire staff were knowledgeable, professional, helpful and always courteous, and the hotel is so tastefully decorated. The rooms are immaculate, quiet, bed exceedingly comfortable, and always available champagne and pasteis de natas are a very pleasant touch. The current city infrastructure work on the street necessitated walking some extra steps to the entrance, but this was not a problem. Anyone seeking top-notch service in a prime Lisbon location perfect for touring the city and extended area will be impressed by Eurostars LIsboa Baixa. We look forward to staying there again the next time we're in Lisbon!

We stayed 5 nights at this wonderful hotel in the heart of Lisbon, where convenience meets a boutique atmosphere. Every single person we encountered was helpful, kind, and welcoming - from Justin at breakfast in the morning; to Carlotta, Joao, and Rodrigo at the front desk; to Tomas the bellman. Whether we needed help navigating the city, scheduling day trips, finding the best Ginginya place, or looking for a new place to have dinner we were met with only an enthusiastic desire to help. The rooms were also spotless and we had a treat left for us every night (chocolates, pastel de nata, you name it!). On top of all of this, the location was very convenient in the Baixa area, making it easy access to Bairro Alto/Chiado and Alfama. Basically a 5-10 minute walk from anywhere. I would encourage anyone to stay at this wonderful hotel!

My stay at Eurostars Lisboa Baxia was an absolute disaster, largely thanks to the abhorrent behavior of the manager, David Costa, and the night manager, Tomas. Their inhospitable nature was evident from the very beginning. David's deceptive tactics were showcased when he conveniently "forgot" to mention that the supposedly "free" parking spots were actually grimy street parking spaces. Naturally, they were all taken by Saturday night. If only David had disclosed this vital detail, I would have promptly opted for the garage. Instead, I wasted a valuable hour that I could have spent immersing myself in Lisbon's culture. Instead, I was left navigating the congested streets, all thanks to his blatant disregard for guest convenience.

And the water fiasco was equally absurd. The inconsistency displayed by Tomas in charging 5€ for a bottle one day, then giving it for free the next, is baffling. It raises questions not only about their incompetence but also about potential racism, as this ordeal seemed strangely targeted at me due to my skin color. Their unprofessional, impolite, and utterly useless behavior is a stark contrast to the norms of the hospitality industry.

To compound the issue, the AC was a joke. The feeble fan barely managed to stir the air, leaving the room feeling like an Alaskan husky's breath. Given the managers' complete lack of respect for guests' time and their woeful absence of hospitality skills, I strongly urge against booking a stay at Eurostars Lisboa Baxia. The lasting impression of this experience is one of frustration, disrespect, and an overwhelming desire never to set foot in this establishment again.

I cannot write enough good things about my experience here. The hotel is spotless and luxurious. But that was not the best part. The staff, especially David, was exceptionally kind and help me beyond anything I had expected. I arrived very ill and he made sure I was in a very quiet room and also had one ready and let me check in early so I could rest. I was so very grateful and highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience while staying a week here in Lisbon. The hotel was in a great location, making it easy to get around. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in… we arrived later in the evening, without a reservation, and were able to secure a room for a week. Perks at the front desk were bubbly, fresh water with fruit or cucumber and mint, and brownies after coming “home” from a long day exploring. The rooms were clean and fresh. I liked the larger bathroom counter for personal grooming items. The AC was great. Lastly, the morning breakfast was fantastic! The buffet was fresh with many different dishes from fresh fruit, fresh juices, fresh cheese and cold meats, bacon and scrambled eggs, and wonderful, yummy sweets! Also eggs made to order from the kitchen. Hot chocolate, and cappuccino were especially made by the staff… 😋 The team at breakfast were wonderful, especially Mara. She was very professional, yet very personable. I tried to practice my Portuguese, and she tried her English! She kept the food area very clean and tidy. We certainly will be back. Thank you!

This is a new hotel in a very central location. The front desk staff are accommodating/helpful. The room was clean and very well equipped.

The only downside was the bathroom it could have been cleaned much better, I feel like the housekeepers tend to rush and not clean thoroughly. You could tell in corners of the showers that it wasn’t cleaned properly. Overall we had a great stay minus the bathroom.

The Eurostars Lisboa Baixa is very nice hotel. Its central location is the best there is. It is easy to go from there to other parts of the city, to take public transport, to sit on a tram or to dive to the subways. The hotel staff are very joyful, friendly, helpful and polite. Breakfast is excellent. The selection is wide and the coffee is good. The service at the breakfast is pleasantly friendly. There was no complaint about the facilities in our room. Bed, pillows, sheets, all good quality - even toilet paper. The bathroom was renovated and well designed. The shower room kept the water in itself. The robes were big enough for us, who were a bit bigger than average visitors. Air conditioning works if needed, but you can also open the window, which is great. The soundproofing of the windows was also good. Just putting the curtain on and open was difficult because of a bad instrument. They should be repaired.

The location is great. For the price paid I expected: 1) air conditioning ( it did not work, and when "fixed", it really didn't cool the stuffy room) . 2) the fridge doesn't really cool. 3) not
providing a bottle of water for every day of the stay struck me as beneath something acceptable from a one star hotel. SHOWER IS AMAZING!

Highly recommend this hotel in the heart of Baixa, Lisbon. The staff and service are amazing. Our superior room on the 4th floor had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean, and quite spacious for a hotel in this location - it was a delight to return after busy days in Lisbon. This is a recently renovated so has many high tech features not found in many older hotels. The welcoming sparkly wine and treats at reception was a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent and the staff accommodated all our dietary restrictions with grace. Big thank you to the Eurostars Baixa team for making our stay so wonderful.
