Booked this hotel because it is in easy walking distance of the Rock in Rio festival site. Was also delighted to find that right outside the front door is the entrance to the Alameda metro station - 6 stops to the city centre and 6 stops to theairport, without having to change! Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent cafe across the road if you don't want the hotel breakfast and on our last day we also discovered the Impresso Restauarnt (about 100 yards away) which looks as if it might be a converted cinema. Decor might be a little tired but all in all, I thought that the hotel was excellent value.

Nice 11 story hotel in centre of Lisbon. Barely 3 km from station or airport. Nice rooftop bar. Some rooms have massage chairs (luckily we had one since it got automatically upgraded). Staff is quite friendly, although some of them struggle with English.

Lifts are bit narrow if you have lots of luggage. Also, the dining area is not huge. Wouldn’t advise for large groups but families, its quite cozy hotel.

Room Tip: Book room with massage chair (one may ring their reception at time of booking probably).

Mediocre at best but the staff is nice. It’s like saying they have a great personality, older, shower creates a swamped floor, WiFi is terrible, tv is the size of an iPad, dingy lighting and I could continue. As they say you get what you pay for.

We stayed here for 2 nights, location is excellent. Less than a 1 minute walk from the metro station. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. They very kindly stored our large luggage for us whilst we explored other areas of Portugal.
Excellent value for money.

I felt a strong need to review Hotel A S because of the five star level of service and accommodations I received from this hotel which is situated in the center of Lisbon and conveniently accessible to the Alameda Metro station right in front of the hotel and only a 10 minute ride to the airport! We were first welcomed with warm Lisbon smiles of Janice, Rodrigo and also Bruna and Goncalo! They went beyond the call of duty of their hospitality and of may say, the upper management should be proud of their five star staff! The hotel is very clean and the best part about it is that the room had a massage chair that became my best friend during my stay! The area is very safe and has a park across the street with a fabulous water fountain! Its is in close proximity to points of interest bars and restaurants. The breakfast is included and best of all, they offer a welcome drink ticket for each guest that you can have on the rooftop bar and restaurant with spectacular views of Lisbon. I would without any doubt or hesitation highly recommend this hotel to people traveling to Lisbon! Richard Silva April 2024

I stayed here one week with mom. The location is great, you are going out and there is entrance to metro :)
Room was clean, just I think they should renovate the bathroom.
Good breakfast (but only last two days there was sweets)
There is a very nice cafe opposite Pão de Açúcar

I stayed at the AS Hotel Lisbon for a week for work in December 2022.
The staff were helpful and accommodating, they have a tough job considering the state of the hotel.

Check in took some time.
By the time we got to the room it was around midnight.
The room looked like something out of a movie.
See pics attached.
Dark dingy and a thick layer of dust on everything.

We were moved to a new room which had been cleaned but was not much better.
Shower was broken and still can’t get my head around why hotels still use baths with disgusting shower curtains as a shower.

Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in for a while.

Flight was cancelled so our stay was delayed by one day. Called hotel at 10am to cancel 1st night. Hotel would not refund our money even though they were not full. Even a free drink or breakfast would have been a nice gesture but no - nothing was offered. Bar was way overpriced. Could get drinks for half the price across the street. Shower would not drain and we could only take a 2 minute shower before it would flood the bathroom floor. Drain smelled terrible too.

Location is the key here. Bang next to one of the most convenient Metro stations, Alameda. Rooms, bathroom and breakfast are adequate for the price. Ticked all the boxes relevant to enjoying a long weekend in Lisbon.
There's an unusual late night Polynesian themed bar around the corner as well.

The hotel doesn't look like the pics displayed.
When we first stepped, we were not aure we wanted to be inthis place.
It did pull some more crowd as it's closest to the airport and in town.
Showers etc old fashioned.. had a musty smell. Rooms were big and clean.
