We only stayed for a few days as visiting now alive music festival. We would stay here again if doing the same trip. But it is quite a distance from the main centre of Lisbon. Breakfast was included in the price and was ok, the...More
This is a nice hotel across the road from the monastery. The breakfast was very good with a large range. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the aircon broke and wasn't repaired during my stay. The hotel gave a 50% discount on the...More
I stayed here for a stopover ... Very cool and funky small hotel. Clean and Quiet but close to train as well as all the landmarks in Belem.

Our room was on the 2nd floor facing the road. Good view of the Monastery. Double glazing kept the traffic noise to an acceptable minimum. Two wifi were available with good signal strength and speed. Twin beds pushed together.
Breakfast was included. It was adequate.
Stayed one night, business.
Quite small bedroom but with a nice toilet.
HVAC out of service = too hot room.
The nicest thing was the Breakfast that included the original pastéis de Belém :p

Belém is the "capital of the Portuguese Discoveries" and a photographer's paradise. You can spend an entire day exploring this neighborhood: monuments (Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries), museums (Coach Museum, Centro Cultural de Belém) and breathtaking views of the Tagus river will make your visit worth your time. Belém also offers a variety of restaurants and cafes, namely the famous - and
delicious - "Pastéis de Belém" (typical Portuguese custard tarts; make sure you buy an extra box of those!). Easily accessible from Lisbon's historic center, Belém is a must-do, especially if you're spending more than one day visiting the Portuguese capital.
