Discrete entrance to this amazingly restored old compact Palace. Wonderful interior courtyard garden. Very private rooftop swimming pool. Relax...recharge. Very near The Monastery and waterfront. Choose your room carefully from the excellent pics on their website.

Palacio Ramalhete is an excellent small hotel, with very courteous and friendly staff and a good location. The rooms are stunning, with beautiful decor and of a great size. Well appointed and clean, I cannot complain. Breakfast was very generous and served in the delightful common areas which are great for a drink in the evening. Top marks.

A beautifully appointed hotel in an old town house. Great location for walking on the waterfront - a walk to the Belem Tower about 1.5 hours with great views over the water. Friendly staff and most of them were reasonably helpful. Did not have breakfast or use the pool. One criticism - bed VERY hard and we actually like firm...
