Me and my classmates are really disappointed with this hostel. First of all I got a ripped sleeping blanket. Second of all the public bathroom was FILLED with pubichairs and hair in general. After we finished eating breakfast we had to clean our plates, cups etc. and some people did not even bother using soap to wash the dishes, so... More

For this price one of the best hostel I stayed in. Very competent and nice staff. Good breakfast include, very good wifi and nice location. The cleaning is the only spot which can be improved but really its a very good hostel.

This is a very good hostel, near the city center. The hostel is quite clean, with amazing (but few) showers. The rooms are OK, but a little noisy because of the old wooden floor. Free breakfast and nice terrace let you to wake up in the good way. Suggested

The hostel itself is located very close to the barrio alto, the party-district of Lisbon. The rooms were ok, nothing special, but also affordable. The breakfast was good, with cereals, coffee, tee, bread, jam and Nutella. Bear in mind that this hostel is frequented by young travelers and therefore can get a bit noisy at night.

It was a lovely experience to stay at Equity Point Lisboa Hostel! Friendly staff, sweet location and comfortable bed! I wanted to rate 5 stars, but it wouldn't let me! I would recommend my friends who want to pay a visit to Lisbon to stay over there :)

Staying in Chiado & Carmo

Neighbourhood Profile
Chiado & Carmo
The traditionally trendy "Chiado" (literally, "squeak", the nickname of a 16th century poet) offers plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars where you can stop for a cafe or cocktail, after exploring its streets, shops, art galleries, theaters, museums and viewpoints. It's also the home to the statue of the famous statue of portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, having is usual espresso at "A Brasileira" as he used to. You can also enjoy breathtaking views of Lisbon from the Elevador de Santa Justa or the Carmo Convent, for example. A commercial neighborhood at its core, especially for its Garrett and Carmo streets, Chiado is to this day a mandatory visit in Lisbon.
