This hotel is a good choice if you have to stay overnight in Lisbon and catch a flight early in the morning. The airport is just across the street and a free shuttle will take you to the right departure gate in 10 minutes. The breakfast is excellent, in a modern and clean dining hall and breakfast is served as early as 2.00 am if you need to catch a very early flight. The staff was friendly and speaks English. I booked a budget price room, which was fine, with airconditioning and a good shower, very clean bed. All new furniture and decoration.

Great hotel! Very close to the airport, literally 5min walk, but if you do not want to go on foot, they have a transfer every 15min, just book. Room of good size and with great sound insulation (nothing is heard from the movement of planes). My only reservation is the bathroom as it is glazed and closed to the room only by a curtain. Lets talk about the breakfast first - it is excellent - plenty of options, its worth staying here just for this. Other bonus is that it is literally across a road (well two roads) from arrivals - just look across the road and you see it, 5 minute walk. Hotel has early breakfast from 2am for early risers and then the later buffet, additionally there is a bar and food served late, Room was good and comfortable with kettle and bottled water. My wife and I would like to tell you how much we enjoyed our recent stay at the Star Inn Lisbon. We noticed a lot of improvements since we last visited in October 2021. Most notably, we felt that the food and service in the restaurant had really gotten better. We enjoyed the evening buffet on October 25 and the breakfast buffet the next day very much. The quality and variety of the food on both occasions was very impressive.
Five of the persons who looked after us deserve special mention. On the evening of the 25th, Tiago Pereira and Reajul Alam in the restaurant really went out of their way to provide us with friendly and prompt service. (This was somewhat in contrast to the two young women who had greeted and seated us. They both conveyed through their manners somewhat indifferent attitudes that were frankly “a bit too cool” for our tastes. Moreover, I had to go up to the front desk to order a beer after failing to establish eye contact with either of the ladies). Tiago and Reajul seem to appreciate the importance of “being engaged with the customers” and couldn’t have been more pleasing to deal with.
I was too jet-lagged to make note of his name; however, the gentleman who led the restaurant team on the morning of the 26th was first rate. He was personable, funny, enthusiastic and very attentive to detail. Further, as my wife was checking out from the hotel on the 26th, I noticed how dedicated were the young woman and man who cleaned the floor in front of the elevator and waiting area. This might seem like a small detail to some; however, as a former maître d’hotel in the industry in Canada, I believe it sends exactly the right message to guests about the cleanliness and professionalism of the hotel.
Finally, our room was extremely comfortable, clean and quiet. In summary, based on earlier stays, I used to think that the main advantage of staying at the Star Inn was its proximity to the Lisbon international airport. While that remains a major benefit, indeed, I can assure you that my wife and I will now first think of the excellent service and facility we experienced. Rest assured, we shall book again next October when we plan to fly into Lisbon.

The location close to the Lisboa airport allows you to have a good rest during a break in your journey and while waiting for a transfer, especially at night. Breakfasts available from 2 a.m. are an additional great advantage. The breakfast we ate at 5 a.m. was very tasty and varied.

Convenient location - short walk from the main terminal - is the main reason we chose the hotel. There is a regular airport shuttle too - good option if you have a lot of luggage. The hotel is perfect for a short stay, our room was small as such would not be suitable for a longer stay, this could be due to the room type. Strangely the bathroom was as big as the bedroom and also had a waterfall shower. Breakfast was very good and staff friendly. Bed was comfortable. It was possible to open the window in the room. Efficient check in/check out. Price was slightly high however due to positive experience and location i would consider choosing the hotel during the next trip to Lisbon.

This hotel is located within walking distance of the “Humberto Delgado” airport in Lisbon. The price quality of this hotel is correct, very friendly staff and nice rooms. The breakfast is also very good and sufficient, we booked there for one night. If you wish, you can walk to the airport (about 10 minutes), but you can also opt for the “Shuttle Bus” option, this option is free, you leave the hotel and go across the street wait at the entrance of the other hotel, the Shuttle passes approximately every 10 minutes to pick up the people and takes you to the desired entrance of the airport. This hotel is definitely recommended for the airport, a small disadvantage can be said that you cannot reserve a parking space in the hotel for your car for several days, if you can leave your car there (ask in advance) this will costs you €15 per calendar day.

Ideal hotel for layover right next to the airport! We had a 24 hour layover here, and there is a free shuttle from the airport (although walking is also possible). the hotel allowed us to access our room very early in the day so we could get some sleep. Food is available at weird hours (2am!!) so is great for people getting over jet lag. The breakfast was free/included and very comprehensive, would have easily cost 20 euros in some places! Staff is very friendly as well. Also the hotel is only 15-20 minutes from tourist spots of Lisbon so it is easy to get around. Highly recommend and I'm sure we will be back during our next layover!

Over night stay at Star Hotel Lisbon which is just 4 mins walk …as you exit the arrival hall you’ll see their neon sign, just follow that direction. Check in easy, hotel room though not huge it’s clean n comfy. Breakfast is included in the low price. Beddings are comfy. If u book direct with hotel u can get late checkout too, just ask! Highly recommend.

The Star inn Lisbon hotel is a 5-minute walk from Terminal 1 -arrivals.
You will find a pedestrian route with signs indicating the way.
The hotel has a free shuttle service that starts from 4 a.m. until 12 a.m. every 15 minutes.
If you want to use the hotel service to the airport, just be at the door 10 minutes before the time you want to leave.
To use the service from the airport to the hotel, within the same hours, you must call the hotel's telephone number (+351 218 425 700), to arrange the service.

I don’t think so. The hotel is on the other side of terminal from the runway and is down a little hill, so I didn’t notice any planes at all. I would think the hotel next door would be the same.
