A wonderful homemade breakfast sitting out with a stunning view of the castle and wonderful blue skies. We ended our evenings with a drink at the lookout point just around the corner from Maria's and it was just perfect. Extremely comfortable room and very helpful map and tips for Lisbon. I can't recommend it enough. And Lola is a lovely...

We drove to Lisbon from Porto (in our own car) for a two night stay and arrived at micasa with adrenaline flowing after meeting a tram coming at us on our side of the road. First impressions of this run down area are negative but do not let this put you off (the rest of Lisbon is dirty too). Micasa...

Once the taxi driver succeeded in finding the right end of the street, our time here was made easy by host, Maria, and canine helper, Lola. Our room looked over the green valley and convent wall. Breakfast on a terrace, lots of useful tips and maps, interesting conversations, real home environment. Be aware that streets are steep! Very peaceful place...

I spent 4 nights in this place and I really loved it. Maria-host, owner is very sweet, gives you tips about good places. Mi casa is located near Graca, which is up in the hill so it can get little tricky about walking, but there are trams and buses going. Rooms are beautifully decorared, each is different, there are books...

We stayed for four nights (should have been five but our flight was changed due to the air controller strike in Lisbon) in the room on the right. We arrived at 8 AM and Maria opened the door before we were out of the cab. We were greeted warmly, like family, and served a lovely breakfast on the patio, which...

If you go to Lisbon… stay at home. We don’t live in hotels. That’s why micasaenlisboa isn’t one. We miss home when we travel even though at times we stay at hotels where occasionally we get the chance to pamper ourselves in a room which doubles in size our own, to enjoy breathtaking views or to use a luxury marble...

It's not easy to me to express what I felt when I read it for the first time. And I didn't find the time I needed to answer you till today. Nobody described better before what this house...

My wife and I spent three nights at Maria's place and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Staying in Graca & Sao Vicente

Neighbourhood Profile
Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel like independent villages in the capital's center, and more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants and parks, as well as important monuments like the S. Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a spectacular option for those looking for a more tranquil walk-around in the center of Lisbon. Graça has been the choice of many younger people over the past years, both nationals and expats, given the cozy feeling of the neighborhood and its hidden secrets.
