I want to testify of the professionalism of this hotel. The apartment 105 was just perfectly equipped, clean and nice. The location is ideal. The kids club is wonderful and kids were crying to go. Finally the management and personnel are totally dedicated, professional and very nice and helpful for everything. For a stay in family (or not) I will a 1000% recommend this hotel.

Wow! We are U.S. expats living in Switzerland and doing a lot of traveling with our 20 month old toddler and another family with kids. The Martinhal Chiado was perfect in every way and I have already recommended it to friends who are visiting Lisbon next summer. First, the property is extremely kid friendly, while still being modern and stylish with not everything TOO kiddy. From the minute we walked in, the staff in the Kids Club greeted our children and played with them while we did the business of checking in. The safety measures and sanitization at the property were extremely thorough, without being overbearing. The Deluxe Studio room was perfect--we had two adults and a 20 month old in a crib. They had every amenity we could need--water heater, high chair, crib, diaper pail, storage, full kitchenette, refrigerator, kitchen towels, etc. Location of this hotel in Chiado is outstanding - lots of restaurants, bars and coffee shops around. Pharmacy and market are walkable. You can walk to the top of the Santa Justa lift and you are very close to the Cais de Sodre metro station to take the train to Cascais for the day. Close to the river where things are flat and there are tons of tuk tuks to catch. The very best part of the trip was the service from Rita and Pedro at the front desk. Rita made our trip perfect, outstanding and easy. The answer to every question was yes, and her recommendations were spot on. For example, for lunch when we arrived, our group had 4 tired kids who just got off an early plane and she recommended the Time Out Market Lisbon - it was fast and easy and had any kind of food you could want, from some of the best chefs and eateries in Lisbon. It was perfect for our group of 7 kids and adults--we had options for the kids and beer and cocktails for the adults. Then for dinner in the evenings, we wanted places for adults while we had the kids in Kids Club and babysitting. Rita got us reservations at Barrio do Avillez and Sud--both places were modern and cool with unbelievable food. And the Martinhal kept our kids until midnight so we could truly have adults night out!!! Rita also got us tickets for a Sunset Cruise on the river. On Monday, the day we were leaving, Pedro at the front desk, got us tickets for the Oceonarium when it was SOLD OUT, allowing us to get in and take the kids on our last adventure before we had to go to the airport. Finally, the hotel partners with a transportation service. Not only did they pick us up from the airport, but when we went back to the airport, they came to the hotel, loaded up our luggage and the car seats and met us at the Ocenarium with all our stuff and took us to the airport!! I can't say enough good things about the Martinhal Chiado. If you want a place where your kids are well cared for AND you can have some adult time, this hotel is a MUST to book!…

First time in Lisbon with our 4year old daughter, and our stay was superb thanks to their hospitality and location. Five star- Beautiful interior, spacious room with kitchen, washing machine, and of course the kids club! Everything is perfectly prepared for the family to relax and enjoy the stay. We were able to explore museums and quiet restaurants while our daughter was happily taken care of in the club. All staff, especially Rita, was attentive and caring. We loved every single minute of our stay-highly recommend!!

We spent 4 nights in this lovely place. We, are my wife, my daughter (1 year) and myself. Although we have been the only guests due to Corona and the hotel had to limit a few services, we had a perfect holiday with outstanding service and best in class hospitality Everything was taken care of and we could not have asked for more. Special thanks to Rita! Furthermore the location is just perfect for a city trip. Shops, supermarket, restaurants are just around the corner. Also the train station for trips to the beach or Belém is just 5 minutes away. We can highly recommend this hotel!

They provide all you need for your kids ( foods, toys, kitchen tools...). All the staff was really nice and super kids friendly, special thanks to Rita who was really compliant & reliable! Would definetly recommand this hôtel for 1-5 years kids.
