Uepá Marta, your words are music to my ears. Really good to have this feedback from a solo traveller, pointing out some of our main priorities, like having a perfect Wi-Fi and mainly having a cool and helpful staff to create a great atmosphere for all travellers! I feel like posting in our Facebook page your sentence: "...this hostel is...

I did a solo visit to Lisbon, my first solo visit anywhere really. This hostel made my visit so easy, fun, active, and social. It was just the adventure i had hoped for. The hosts are all incredible. Maria especially was a pleasure to interact with, full of philosophical discussion and practically applying it to life. My favorite memory from...

Uepá Ray, I love reviews of first timers in hostels, especially if they are so complete and positive. I particularly loved this sentence: 'There is a wonderful sense of community in the hostel which just infects everyone who stays there.' That reflects pretty much our all time desire of creating a cozy, homey and respectful environment for everyone in our...

Amazing hostel incredibly located in the very center of Lisbon. Price is really affordable ( around 10 € per night), metro station Baxia and Cais do Sobre just near by, you have many different point of views just few miles away which is excellent to have good time staring at the beauty of the city. The hostel itself is an...

Uepá Alexandre, I love when somebody uses the word Best to describe our hostel ;-) Thanks a lot for writing such a cool review and for realising that the hostel keeps the charm of a 240 years old building, eventhough the atmosphere within is very fresh and young. Happy to know that you felt at home from the first moment....

Besides the good localization, the hostel's volunteers are so kind and able to help you at any time with information and tips. Very good energy and nice people to have a conversation! There is an information board with all the places around and also, the hostel has one app that you can download for free!

Cool hostel, safe location, lockers, clean bathrooms, nice staff, 24h door service, perfect inner city location, free breakfast, free Wifi, computers, laundry service. Would always stay here again. The lockers might be a bit too small if you travel with a very large backpack (say 65+ l) plus a small bag, but I managed to fit everything in there somehow.

Uepá Steve, your review couldn't be more descriptive. Thanks a lot for pointing out so many things that everyone gives value and most of the services available at Old Town Hostel. Mostly, I like to know that you 'would always stay here again'. After all, this is what we want from all clients ;-) About the lockers, after so many...

I stayed for 5 nights. The staff, joão, his father, julie and Maria were very kind, informative and welcoming. It's an old building, well kept and authentic. Great location. The street is quiet and walking distance to everything really. I would go back in a heart beat. WiFi worked well too.

Uepá John, such a great and complete review! I love the reference to the building, which is old but even after the rehabilitation we made this year, is still authentic, like us ;-) Also thanks for letting the others know about our extremely central location, the good quality of the WiFi and the cool Staff!
