This hotel is runned by a family that have no idea of customer service. They don't greet you at all when they see you and a simple thank you is out of the question..rude, rude, rude. Breakfast lacks of variety. There's only bread, small croissants, ham, chesse and boiled eggs...nothing else! On the second day they served the same croissants... More

Hotel Smart is a beautiful family hotel. The hotel is situated on a hill, so it is a climb to go upwards. It is a very, very clean and stylish hotel. I loved it! The breakfast is good with French rolls, croissants, ham, cheese, jam, hard boiled eggs, cerials, milk, juices, tea and coffee. There is an underground parking place,... More

I was here with my family for 10 nights in September and was very pleasantly surprised. For a 'budget' hotel it represents great value. The hotel is in a quiet location just a few minutes walk from the beach and lovely promenade. It takes about 30 minutes or so to walk to Cascais where there are lots of nice restaurants.... More

OK, where to start...... I am writing this review with premise that it's a very reasonably priced hotel. The hotel inside and out is immaculate and kept that way every day. It's always being cleaned and the rooms you could eat your dinner off the floors! It's location is also good (10 to 12 min walk to Casino) . Less... More

This hotel looks great from the outside but unfortunately we have found out to our costs the following; The Rooms have no soundproofing whatsoever, you can hear every single noise from conversation to a tap being turned on . Expect not being able to sleep and also the beds are very very hard The Breakfast is very poor and lacks... More

First, the good stuff: great location, beautiful and clean hotel, spacious rooms, very good shower, nice/clean swimming pool The bad stuff: - The 'hotel' closes at 2am, so you can't stay out later and have to plan your holidays around their opening times which was a shame as we were having a great time at Piano Bar nearby and wanted... Nice location, close to the beach. Stylish interior, nice pool. Spotless clean. You just can't believe they have just two stars (presumably because of the lack of separate entry for personnel). Nearly perfect BUT... 1. There's no fridge in the room which would be very handy regarding summer vacations, 2. Breakfast is pretty basic and does not change a bit... More

Very nice hotel located in Estoril close to a nice supermercado and the beach. 5 minute walk to the casino and ten minutes to the train station. The pool was not too friendly for kids but works great with floating devices and/or kids who can swim. The owners/staff speaks little english and as many reviews say can come across a... More

Pretty nice stay. But.. Prepare yourself for no jumping in the pool, no optional table seatings at breakfast, not so fresh eggs and a lot of big no, nos... Otherwise nice hotel pretty close to the beach. We spent a week here, family of four (kids 4 and 6).
