Liked: New hotel with great facilities, bikes to rent, a pool (not on local) to use, comfortable rooms, easy to find parking outside. Get an higher room to enjoy a great view. Disliked : A bit confusing check-in with a fuzz among the staff, lack of amenities and room kinda small.

I was here 1 week. I loved Covilha. The hotel is clean; it's the 1st thing I check. City center is a 5 minute walk. The Tourist office 20 feet from the door. Bus stops are even closer. The staff are great, and you have beautiful Vistas.

I spent in Covilha 6 months and I saw a lot of hotel in the city, instead of the fact that my friends and family came to visit me, but at least I choose only this one after discovered. The hotel is really nice, the rooms are large and spacious. The bed is extra large and comfortable (I am 2 meters tall and I slept into the bed without any problem, it's the first time in my life). Breakfast is very good and full of dishes, the silence in the rooms is assured given of the soundproofing. One of the few hotels in the city having the radiators and therefore a room with livable temperatures.

Its a fine place to rest at nigth. Near the Serra da Estrela, nice accommodations, nice people very friendly and helpfull. With a bar in the lobby, and an area to seat with friends and have a drink, a computer to access the internet, but have to pay, in general its a very good place to rest with a very fair price.

Easy to find (look for the signs) in this hillside town. Very close to the Mountain Park of Serra da Estrela and handy for day tours of the Guarda - Castelo Branco area. It is an older property with LOTS of free parking (unusual in Portugal). The room was basic, but perfectly adequate, the WIFI worked, and beer in the lobby bar cold. What more could a weary traveller want? And the best part - very affordable if you are on a tight budget.
