Was very pleasantly surprised at how nice our room was. Great sheets. Very clean. Sweet view of the university on the hill. Adequate breakfast. The desk clerks, Beatriz and Theresa are both welcoming and helpful with excellent English. Marvelous location a few meters from the train station and many restaurants.

Good central location,i was met with a very friendly and informative receptionist and this continued with all the staff creating a helpful and relaxed atmosphere. Room was modern and clean with an entertaining overview of the mini square outside. Constant good wi-fi and handy restaurant downstairs, where you enjoyable breakfast is served.

I agree with the other reviews that this is a very well located hotel with a pleasant staff. Our room was on the street but that wasn't a problem. It was large, modern and clean but as mentioned, a small shower and the towels were pretty rough. I had called/emailed every hotel on our trip asking if they offered shampoo,... More

We stayed in this hotel for a week during our holiday in Coimbra. It is a small hotel and is situated fairly central to the old town which is a plus for sight seeing. There are many restaurants and pastiseries in the area, and the quality of food, is on the whole good. The hotel itself does not have a... More

This hotel is very well situated for exploring the old town and is close to many cafes and restaurants. It is clean and very well maintained and the staff was very helpful with any inquiry. The shower is pretty small and the rooms are spare but if you want to be close to the action you won't beat it for... More

Perfectly situated close to the heart of old town, university, etc., clean, comfortable and staffed by warm and helpful folks. Parking provided for a nominal charge--all good! Large room relative to other places we stayed at in Portugal.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean and comfortable. The central location was perfect for us and we never needed the car. We loved the front desk ladies: Beatrice and Thelma, who were always ready to help. Breakfast was adequate. I think we'll be back next year if we go to Coimbra!

As others have already stated it is clean and well located. There are many choices in this small town. The room was fine but really on the order of a motel 6. Towels appear to be air dried as they are really rough (and small). We didn't find the bed very comfortable and the pillows were awful. I really wouldn't... More

Very pleasant and convenient hotel, with friendly staff. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Would definitely stay again and longer next time! From the hotel it is a short walk up the hill to the university and interesting places to eat, as well as shops and the Casa do Fado. The hotel also has a well-regarded restaurant,... More
