Wonderful, friendly and professional staff who went above and beyond to help ensure we had the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. We were parted from our luggage when we arrived but all the reception staff were happy to make countless phone calls and pass on messages until it was successfully delivered to us. A special thank you goes...

Stayed for 2 nights in room 418. We had a side view to gardens and no balcony. We entered into a lounge area, off which there was the bathroom. The bedroom, alone, was up a steep wooden staircase. It was comfortable enough but lacked TLC. For example the metal curtain supports came away from the wall when you used them....

Dear Guest Thank you for you review which allow us to improve our services. Talking about our services we feel sad when we don´t exceed our guest´s expectations. The room 418 is a very nice room, overlooking the garden but also with views to the sea. The path to the outdoor pool with bits of cigarettes may happen but we...

The Hotel and the rooms were very clean and quiet, the staff helped us in all that we needed and they were very nice. It's well communicated with the city center, by bus (only 0,30€ ticket) or walking 15 min more or less.

Even though the hotel had a four star rating, there were a few problems. Most were resolved quickly but some could not be. Such as the spotty air conditioning that only ran for 15 minutes before having to be reset. Such was the case for one entire side of the second floor We were told that they were waiting for...

We only had one night in Terceira but we had the best hotel!!the junior suite was great and big enough for 3 or 4 people.. Had stairs going up to a loft with a bed and television. The sofas turned into beds..Many amenities to take advantage of however we were there such a short time we did not.The restaurant in the...

Clean, modern, centrally located hotel! We greatly enjoyed our stay this past February. They have free parking- both gated and open parking, which was really nice because we rented a car (which is a must for the Azores!). Our room overlooked the Mayor's residence (or so we were told)-- it was absolutely gorgeous and provided great views. We were on...

Hotel do Caracol was about a 10-15 minute walk to the town center, it was at times uphill. Something you should know if you are staying here without a rental car. When we first arrived the lobby wreaked of cigarette smoke, not a pleasant was to start our stay. Our room was nice and clean. Downstairs was the bathroom and...

Good hotel, quiet and very nice view to the sea. Rooms are big enough for 2 but the shower itself was not functionning well. It is close to the city that we could go by foot. We came for our honeymoon and we even got a gift from them, this was very nice.

I could not find fault with Hotel do Caracol. It was more modern than I expected and our family room offered exactly what we wanted - living space downstairs and separate sleeping areas on the upper level. The view out to the pool etc is stunning. A reasonable walk into town but perfect for walking a meal off in the...

We found the Caracol situated at a scenic seaside location with a great staff and pleasant rooms with balcony views. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast giving us a good start on the day's activities. The desk staff was efficient and made for easily booking day tours of the island. We visited in May so did not make use of the...
