Everything other people said is true. It is a wonderfull place to stay. We felt at home.Mary and Les make you feel welcome and they are such good hosts. They are really interested in their guests. We never go back to places we visited but this might be the exception.

We recently stayed with Mary and Les for a week during the annual Silves Mediaeval festival. This was our 4th visit to Duas Quintas but our first visit in August. This time, we stayed in the studio with our 8 year old son. The studio is spacious, airy and has a well equipped kitchen in the lounge area. As with...

My wife and I stayed here looking for a relaxing time away. It is amazing place in a beautiful rural setting just outside of Silves. Very comfortable, clean rooms with great breakfast. It's a short drive to the amazing beaches. Les and Mary are the perfect hosts. They offer lots of tips and advice for local beaches, hikes, restaurants or...

We stayed with Duas Quintas and used it as our base for exploring the Algarve. It's a little outside of the town of Silves and had a little trouble finding it but the owner Les was kind enough to drive out and come get us! After that it was easy to find. Duas Quintas is a beautifully restored farmhouse. The...

We had a truly relaxing time getting away from it all with a Walking Holiday at Duas Quintas. The guesthouse is peaceful and chilled, the delightful scent of orange blossom memorable. The walks that Mary and Les planned were varied, from the local villages walk immersing ourselves in regional life meandering through orange and lemon groves ,to a coastal walk dotted...

Mary and Les are ideal hosts: informative, interested and interesting without being obtrusive. The work they have done to convert the old farmhouses is amply repaid by the result. Simple, clean rooms in a lovely rural setting with views of orange and avocado trees. Stunning breakfast (we were given porridge as it was chilly). Silves is a delightful small town...

After a week of traveling from place to place in Portugal with our young daughter, landing in Duas Quintas for the final stretch of our vacation was the perfect ending. The setting is lovely with stunning vistas of the surrounding countryside. And the accommodations are wonderful as well. At Mary's suggestion, we opted for the apartment with a kitchen and...

Surely nowhere could really justify so many five star reviews as Duas Quintas? Believe me, this place really does! Duas Quintas is formed from converted farm buildings in a traditional Portuguese style and everything has been very tastefully done. There is every convenience you could wish for for a wonderfully relaxing stay, and more. The rooms are comfortable and spacious...
