Les and Mary gave us a truly wonderful week which exceeded all our expectations. Everything was perfect, starting with their warm friendliness and sensitivity to all our needs. The accommodation is beautiful, spotlessly clean, simple and comfortable. I'm running out of superlatives, but the freshly made breakfasts are brilliant - home made bread and cakes, interesting hot main courses and...

Having sampled other rural quintas we have to say that the hospitality at Duas Quintas is unsurpassed. We returned to find that standards are as high as ever and we had an excellent 4 days. Varied walks with stunning scenery, taking in the hills valleys and typical sleepy Portugese villages. The accommodation was comfortable and clean with loads of hot...

We picked Duas Quintas - a restored farmhouse - quite by chance. Surfing the 'net' for a week's break in a busy year and despairing of euro-packaged deals with same-same food and accommodation we just searched 'walking in the Algarve', and up came the Duas Quintas website! From start to finish Les and Mary Cave could not have done more...

We recently stayed with Mary and Les for a week during the annual Silves Mediaeval festival. This was our 4th visit to Duas Quintas but our first visit in August. This time, we stayed in the studio with our 8 year old son. The studio is spacious, airy and has a well equipped kitchen in the lounge area. As with...
