We travelled here I think in 2014 - have been meaning to write a review ever since but only just catching up with reviewing some of my favourite places. We stayed in the yurt here for 3 nights, our first 3 nights in the area, and were blown away. The yurt is GORGEOUS. The owners used to live in it...

We stayed in the fire van in July 2014 and not sure why we never reviewed it. Our stay was incredible! The van is kitted out with everything you will need and the views are stunning. This place is perfect for those who want to get away from it all and re-connect with nature. The only thing is: the pond...

Just spent a week in the "Gypsy Van" in the peaceful sun filled mountains of Brejeira Eco-Lodge. An absolutely stunning location about as far away from city life as you can get. The van itself is incredibly cool. Like a cross between a carriage from the Orient Express and a woodland cabin. Great little touches everywhere from the chaise-longue to...

We stayed 5 nights in the vire van and we enjoyed our stay very very much!! The van is equipped with everything you need...a little kitchen with gas-stove, refrigerator, sink, dishes and a very cozy bed. Outside you will find the most awesome shower ever... a bucket with a shower head under a tree :) But the best about Brejeira...

Beautiful gypsy caravan in amazing rural location, but really close to, and a great base for visiting villages & amazing beaches nearby. The caravan was stunning, like staying in a vintage train carriage. Amazingly well equipped with your own toilet and shower with views over the hills, kitchen and sun terrace with table to sit and watch the sun setting...

We stayed at the Fire Van for 10 nights. It was SO cool! All we could hear at night were frogs, birds and other natural sounds, the sky was full of bright stars and I really forgot that big cities even exist! It is a great place to get away from the rush and have all the privacy in the...

We stayed here for 3 nights in the gyspy caravan. What a special place with amazing views over the hills. The caravan is very comfortable and quite spacious. It surely makes for a unique and very pleasant experience. It is easy to self cater with a stove and small fridge and all the other necessary goods on hand. The outside...

Our stay of three nights at Eco-Lodge Brejeira was really really good. I enjoyed it more than most trips I have been on. We stayed in the Gypsy caravan, which is very nostalgic and surprisingly comfortable. It was no trouble cooking a full meal, washing up etc, sorry about the dish cloth I set on fire though..! Sander welcomed us...

We stayed for one week in the gipsy van. We had a very good experience and still look back on a perfect holiday. The views are fantastic. Every morning we enjoyed the views on the small valley and the Monchique mountains from our terrace. Not to forget the lovely two dogs. Waiting to be petted. We went a couple of...

“We only stayed in the Yurt which was serene and beautiful and perfect for anyone who wants to be completely alone and not see another soul.”

“Most isolated is the fire van in the valey. Nice young forest embraces you, while having your own privet camp site. The yurt and the gipsy van enjoy the best views.”
