Staff are very nice and breakfast was pretty good value at 6 euro. Room was very clean and shower was a new one and very nice. Bed was comfortable enough. However there was a musty smell in my room so I opened the window to air the place and was bitten alive by mosquitos for a few nights. I slept poorly because of this and left after 6 nights had booked for 8 nights. Is cheap and cheerful but for me not a place to stay for a long trip. Next time I visit Sagres I will pay a bit extra for a more comfy setting. It's well situated.

The staff were very welcomeing. This is a wondy corner of the world, but well worth a visit. The rooms were adequate, but the furniture was a bit dated. we really could not complain given the democratic prices. We even had a beautiful balcony with a view of the beaches.

If you are looking for luxury this is not the place to go, but if you want a good base for beach/surfing this will really suit you. The apartments are basic but spacious, seperate bedroom and living rooms with a basic kitchentte with fridge, hob, sink. We used it for basic meals, but the good news is there are some lovely places to eat in Sagres a few minutes walk away, one we loved was a pizzeria with great food at reasonable prices. Sagres also has lovely chilled surfy/feel bars and cafes. Nearby beaches are great, though would recommend a car as the ones near the hotel are small with little surf. Would recommend this aparthotel as a great base for a holiday, we had one of our best there.

My latest trip took me to the more remote area of Portugal. I stayed at the Navigator hotel.Although it may seem to many to slightly dated this hotel is very functional for a base to stay and explore the local walks and beaches. The rooms are very clean with a lot of space. There is a sitting room with TV, good and spacious toilet and shower/bath room. For those who might look to self cater there is also a kitchenette with fridge and cooker/microwave.The breakfast though are only continental style. There is a very good pool also with seating/loungers available.

This hotel has had some bad reviews on various sites,i think some people need to get a life
We stayed here for 7 nights,we came on a motorcycle from England we are 75 yr olds we have had hundreds of hotels over many years
We ignored bad reviews let's find out for our selves.
We booked in to find it was a Portuguese holidays Hmmmmmm,ok we had room by reception could be noisy,ok first night was a bit kids well let's see ,I had ear plugs incase sleepedOK OK I found this to be a very quiet hotel maybe we were lucky
OK now the staff they have had a bashing we found to be very friendly.cleaners were very good room cleaned every day good beding and towels we had free gym good clean pool
Now kitchen OK so aluminium pots and pans get a life you are not going to die you probably use worse at home
Overall this is good value we did not want to leave but we are always on the move
If you can get sea view top floor you will the best view you have ever seen,so if you come to this hotel enjoy it's 1970s so it's past its best .but it will not stop you enjoying your self

The sun&pool terrace is so shabby that it can’t be used. The pool is dirty, the small pool is without water, tiles are loose, painting is falling off etc. Stay somewhere else if you would like to use a sun&pool terrace.

Budget accommodation was spacious, spotless, great room heater and comfortable beds. We were in room 308, worth the extra few euros for the spectacular sea view.

Sagres has a pretty good grocery store, five minute drive, it had everything you needed, plus a little fast food restaurant.

We spent four days in this hotel and absolutely loved sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down.
