Enjoyed my stay here when I took lessons with the surf school for a few days in July. The staff were amazing, they really went out of their way to make things special for the guests. Food was wholesome and plentiful, no holding back because of hostel budget.

Amazing and super friendly staff!! Very safe and chill hostel, all beaches around Sagres are close by (walking distance) Rooms are clean and there is a fully equiped kitchen, also one of the staff members makes the best breakfast! Lots of activities planned by the staff like Bbq-night, Bingo night, Boat party etc.

Sagres is a beautiful town, and the hostel is full of truly amazing, warm, welcoming people. The surf instructors truly care, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience here. It definitely feels like a little community, and I can't wait to come back to it. Thanks for the amazing times!

The place is beautiful and atmosphere is awesome:) Cool instructor team watching you all the time and giving a constructive feedback, making jokes, keeping you relaxed, satisfied and...

My daughter and I had the best vacation ever at the Algarve Surf Hostel -- Sagres! It's like summer camp for grownups, only far better. The staff -- Laurie (sp?), Hannah, and Georgy, and Jose -- are amazing, friendly, kind people (thanks again for the brownie recipe, Hannah!). Here's how it works. Breakfast is served from 9 to 10, and...

“The rooms are allocated by the host and I believe are pretty much the same throughout. But I guess you could ask for rooms on the main entrance side. On the rear side the hostel has an outdoors/bar area and although the music goes off around half eleven at night, guests might stay up till late talking.... Just go surfing all day and you'll be too exhausted to care really.”
