What a wonderful spot. My husband and I have travelled to many luxury homes and destinations and this truly is quite a find. The location is spectacular. We drove down from Lisbon (2 hour drive) and after a few days of touring the city, this was a refreshing, relaxing find. It's the small details that make it extra special. Crisp...

My husband and I arrived at this wonderful hotel both suffering from over-work meltdown; we wanted sun, sea and calm. We got them all and more! This is the kind of hotel you want to recommend to everyone you meet and then fear that you won't get a room next time you want to go; and there is little doubt...

My daughter and I just returned from a short vacation in the Algarve and this spot was one of our favorites. It feels far removed from the crowded tourist spots just nearby and the view from the terrace allows you to feel that you have the coastline to yourself. There is a very pretty and busy little beach just below...

Mrs Dolly (the owner) has over the past 26 years created a paradise at Casa Tres Palmeiras. The attentions to details and small little personal touches makes place an experience that is better than what you would find in any 5 star hotels. Words can not describe this place, neither the wonderful atmosphere that Mrs D has created and creates...

We have just returned from the most idyllic week at Casa Tres Palmeiras. This is a very special place which made our wedding anniversary very memorable. We were looked after superbly by Dolly and her staff, who went out of their way to provide impecable service and attention to detail. We found we did not need to move far all...

Casa Tres Palmeiras is listed as an hotel, but it feels far more intimate than that. The discrete high level of service from Dolly and her staff is of a very high standard and her attention to detail marks this out as a special place to stay. The spaciousness of the accommodation means that although all five rooms were occupied...

Portimao is, frankly, a bit of a dump - high rises, loads of fast food joints, populated by people on cheap package holidays. In the midst of all this is Dolly's delightful place. Time has stood still here, so if you are expecting minimalist and modern design and surroundings, forget it. What you get here is timeless quality - Dolly...

This is a place where it all comes together. It is staying in a villa on the sea and having everything taken care of for you wonderfully. The rooms are very well appointed (touches like fresh fruit in the room daily). You can either remain poolside on the loungers in front of your room above the very scenic beach or...

We picked our accommodation because of the reviews on Trip Advisor (rather than wanting to visit Portimao specifically) and while expecting (well hoping!) for something really good due to the reviews, it exceeded our expectations.   On arrival we had a very warm welcome from Dolly who went out of her way to help us during our stay and make...

It was our first trip to Portugal and we wanted to spend the last week in the Algarve, close to a beach. After seeing the website for Tres Palmeiras and reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to go there. Tres Palmeiras exceeded our expectations! The location is ideal, the villa is amazing and provides spectacular views, the rooms...
