We did not stay at the Spa resort but had a day visit there and a lovely tapas lunch. The valley itself and historic buildings have an indescribable beauty and grace. The Caldas is especially beautiful after driving eastwards from Aljezur on the Atlantic coast, through the stunning( and vertiginous!) mountains populated with cork forest and beautiful pine trees. We...

No mountain views, as it is set in a gorge. Both of us had upset stomachs after eating a restaurant. Set our dinner back as we were served reheated lamb that was cold in the centre. Swimming pool is unhygienic. Facilities are dated and shabby. In serious need of maintenance. Could be coincidence but got lots of bug bites after...

I spent a few days in the resort for spa and relax. the compound is in a beautiful location and spreads over different buildings. The building we stayed in, right over the restaurant is welcoming, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant and breakfast are great value too.

The reality is that I was expecting something better from the room. It was such a small one that I could live with next room's companions. What I can bring up to a top 4 was the spa service and the restaurant service and food. If we count on the miraculous water and surrounding nature, to make this hotel a...

We stayed for 3 weeks in the hotel with our guests. We found that from the outset all the staff were very helpful and in particular, Joana, who was our main contact could not have been more helpful, she was fantastic and really went the extra mile for us and nothing was too much trouble. It was a great experience...

Bathroom nice but had a problem with shower head being loose. Staff spot on. Wine bar is spot on. Restaurant This was the second time we had dinner in the hotel restaurant,...

We've stayed in this "hotel" because we had a wedding close by and were pretty amazed by the spot - It is incredibly beautiful and the hotel pretty good. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is very complete (not amazing but good). The surroundings are very pretty and well taken care off. If your are in the...
