To be honest I wasn't sure exactly what we had booked through booking.com so I was very pleased with a spacious one bedroom apartment. It was two twins pushed together which made a very large bed and plenty of room for a cot. The breakfast is nothing to shout about, we just fed our baby copious amounts of scrambled egg,...

Although building work is going on in the hotel it did not detract from our stay at all. In fact the crane was a good way to find our baring's whilst out and about. The receptions were extremely knowledgeable and seemed to speak fluently any number of languages. Bet the place is perfect when the pools have warmed up. Lagos...

Family of 4 included two girls aged 12 and 10. We had a great stay at this hotel, self catering for 10 days during Aug 2013. The spacious apartment with kitchen (including fridge) was brilliant, as I hate feeling cramped in holiday accommodation. Our balcony view of the sunny, outdoor pools allowed us to keep an eye on the kids...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here in March of 2013. We booked a standard studio self catering room so wasn't expecting too much and after reading mixed reviews we were just hoping for an average hotel. We were pleasantly surprised, even after our transfer driver taking an hour to find the place because he 'couldn't understand us' lol! The man...

We have just returned from a week in Lagos. Sure, it's out of season, very quiet and long trousers and Jumpers more appropriate than the shorts and t-shirt of our summer visit. But we were there to chill out, get away for a relaxing break. We'd booked a studio room but on arrival had been upgraded to a one bedroom...

We (two couples) booked a 2 bedroom apartment 6 months in advance but still finished up with a unit on an inside corner, smaller than others because of angled walls. The beds were firm but comfortable but in the living area the hard wooden dining chairs were not conducive to sitting for any longer than necessary, while the sofa was...

From our initial arrival late in evening to our final farewell, we found all the staff - from receptionists to cleaners - to be exceptionally friendly and willingly helpful. We found the room - a Superior - well equipped for self-catering needs and both spacious and comfortable. The balcony was a really good size and private. All rooms were beautifully...

We stayed at the Aqualuz for one week in October. The hotel is well placed at the top of a slight hill above Lagos with views towards the Monchique Mountains and Portimao. The hotel is very clean and airy. The receptionists very were welcoming and extremely helpful. (they booked a trip out for us as well as arranging a hire...

We arrived a month later than usual this year as our daughter got married in the week we normally have our holiday. As usual, everything was really perfect, despite the fact that our booking was very late, only made 10 days before we were due to arrive. The staff were brilliant, responding to my email enquiry within 10 minutes, despite...
