Jill & Julio run a lovely Quinta off the beaten track but with superb accommodation & modern amenities. A perfect spot to relax & is also a great base to explore the western Algarve & experience some of the wonderful coastal walks quaint towns & excellent golf courses. There also some good restaurants & bars close by but we would...

The quinta is a great location for a walking holiday in the Algarve. A hire car is a must (arranged by Julio), but there are many interesting walking areas within a relatively short drive. Also the coast and interesting towns for sight seeing are also easily accessible. Lagos is only a short drive away and is a great town for...

This is a great little find. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Quinta in late February. Jill and Julio could not have been better hosts. From ensuring we were well stocked with logs for our cosy wood burning stove to providing fresh eggs from their chickens for breakfast and providing home cooked meals and fine wine. Julio booked our...

A lovely place to get away from it all yet with plenty to do nearby if you want to get out and go walking/bird watching/sight seeing or simply relax on a beach. A rustic converted farmhouse setting with apartments, pool, and jacuzzi. Jill and Julio are the hosts who do a wonderful job of making your stay relaxing and are...

We spent a week at this location and were tipped by friends. This really is a great spot. It is located in a nice area for walks alongside the coasts or just relaxing on the beaches. Jill and Julio were great hosts making sure everything was fine. We enjoyed the breakfasts with the bacon and egg and also the two...

This holiday was one of our best. Heather and I were made very welcome by Jill and Julio and we quickly felt at home in their lovely Quinta. We had a great room, very spacious, with plenty of room on the veranda for enjoying a leisurely breakfast. We went hoping for a comfortable place to stay for a weeks walking...

“We stayed in 'Oleander' which was really suitable for a couple on a walking holiday because it has a fridge (for freezing drinking water bottles in hot weather) and keeping your wine cool. each room had its own patio area which is was very useful because the Quinta is in a rural location and so one person will always have to drive so it ws great to be able to come back to our room and sit out and both have a drink at the end of the evening.”
