I've only been here for three nights and have already stayed in a lot of hostels, so I can say that Casa d'Alagoa is a wonderful place. The rooms are spacious and clean and some do have a kind of romantic balcony. They do also have breakfast included. The staff is really nice and helpful, like Elio and the guy...

This hostel is fantastic, it offers lots of activities and has a real laid back feel. The reception is always open with friendly staff who are so helpful. Breakfast was simple but nice and is a great way to meet other travellers and share stories. Will definitely be staying here again when I next visit Faro.

The staff acts like they are all a big family and guests can feel like friends or even members of this family. every evening they cook together , sometimes they sit on the terracce and play guitar. In the living room of this `family` there is a notice board with many recommandations for Faro and the surrounding of Algarve. There...

A great welcome with a 24 hour receptionist (the no problem guy). On Mondays and Fridays they visit Fabrica an old, funky and quirky warehouse pub which was great for my first night giving me the opportunity to socialise with the rest of the people from the hostel and other hostels. They cook every night for a fee of 7...

The wifi doesn't work in the room, only near the reception. We staff was helpful but we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast( very poor choice and mostly white bread and...

Overall this hostel was good to stay for a short time. The good things were the location, it is reasonably clean, nice people and great outside space - with a roof terrace and back courtyard. It really has great communal areas although the kitchen can get a bit small when there's a lot of people around. - I noticed that...

We visited Faro the last week of September, and we stayed two nights in Casa d'Alagoa with my couple. The place is perfectly located in the Downtown. The building is really beautiful and has an amazing patio and terrace. The common spaces are really agradable, modern and clean. However, we got a double room with bathroom situated on the Patio,...
