Colina Village is nicely laid out with well-kept grounds. The accommodation was excellent, spacious, clean and well-equipped.We arrived at midnight and were very tired and the apartment/bungalow was a lovely surprise.
We found it very quiet, apart from the barking of the local dog

After reading the review on here I was expecting the worst but really enjoyed my time there. Yes alot of sun loungers were broken and the villas are slightly dated but other than that I struggle to find fault with it.Everywhere was very clean, we had maids coming daily (except Su

Just returned from a week at colina village, the hotel is very clean and well maintained. Staff are very accomadating, friendly and knowledgeable of the local area.
Food and drink is good and reasonably priced.

We were really pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Colina Village. The three bedroom apartments were huge, with each of us getting our own bathroom (a luxury not enjoyed in our home). The beds are what you expect in this kind of establishment, not luxurious but still comfy e

Colina village is a lovely place. Apartments are very basic but OK just to sleep in. Staff are excellent, couldn't have asked for any better. Left our tablet and they are sending it to us. Fantastic people

Which toiletries are included? Are pool towels available (including for hire for a deposit)? Do the rooms have an iron? And a hairdryer?
Hi, they don't supply pool towels as other guests have said you can hire the iron and hair drier from the reception but we take our own, and toiletries they have a shower gel in a dispenser in their shower and a soap cream dispenser at the sink. They supply the toilet rolls and all the bathroom towels. Hope this helps. Bill

There is a general shower/bath/ hand wash gel available in the bathrooms/kitchen. There are no pool towels but we had taken our own anyway but I don’t know if any for hire and the rooms do have an iron & hairdryer. I can’t however comment on the other villas or if this is the basic facilities in them all. I hope this helps.

Hi we are arriving on the 17th October for a week will there be any entertainment or activities on at all day or night in this time, Many thanks
No I'm afraid not. It's not that kind of place. We were there in September and nothing going on. Carvoeiro centre has live music on the square but think that finis he'd end of Sept too.

We are considering booking a week here next summer half board. Does the evening meal include any drinks?
I would not book half board here as the menu is so limited you would be very bored. There are so many great restaurants around and much cheaper. Also a good supermarket not far away where beer and wine is very cheap.

I know there is a complementary bus to the beach, but does it also bring you back? Or is it just a drop off service? Thanks
Yes, there are certain times it runs in the morning and pick up times in the afternoon vary depending on when you go. I think the latest pick up return time is around 5pm.

"maybe choose a room which has a nice garden view and not on the bottom floor as it quite noisy having people above you. ."
"Rooms are great but ask for one near to restaurant/bar/pool if you don't walk well"
