Thank you so much for a wonderful stay the first and second week of November - the weather was kind 22 and 23 degrees most days. The hotel as a relaxed and pleasant feel about - with many quiet areas to sit quietly should you wish. Nothing was too much trouble if you needed help from the wonderful and friendly staff. I would certainly recommend booking a room with a sea view - if you are on one of the upper floors both the sunrise and the sunsets can be breathtaking. My room was large and spacious and cleaned meticulously every day. The restaurant food is very varied and well put together. The fact you can walk straight onto the beautiful beach between the cliffs is an added bonus. All the staff I had contact with where courteous and a pleasure to be around - and a credit to the management team. Many thank again, Ken part of the DRU yoga group …
Wow absolutely superb location bang on the beach where you can walk for a few miles and if you're brave swim in the sea. I have been here three times now twice in February and once in November. It's a lovely winter break the hotel is basic but nice for the price absolutely brilliant and half board is included there is ample food at the buffet for breakfast and evening meal you can also have lunch if you want. The rooms are large with big beds and a balcony. There's also some great entertainment at the weekend where you can sing and dance . We come here every year for our yoga retreat and many groups come to train or to just relax. Fabulous little restaurants and shops nearby and you can easily walk to Vilamoura port or Albufeira and other places. The hotel staff are very helpful and it's great to see them every year. Can't fault it for it's price will be coming back soon. Obrigado…
My husband and I booked a last minute trip here and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is expansive and, the grounds are extensive. We were swiftly checked in and our room was very nice. We were 1/2 board so breakfast and dinner were included. The food was really nice and breakfast was ample. The main attraction is the beach at the back door of the hotel. There is a private path which takes you down to there. On site there is an indoor and outdoor pool and a health spa which was very reasonably priced. The bar staff were exceptional and nothing g was too much trouble. Would definitely come back.
I loved having the comfort and ease of being in a hotel, with the convenience of being able to walk straight into stunning nature, - With no need to cross roads or drive a car. In the low season this hotel is beautifully quiet with ample room in the lobby to chill with friends, A quiet bar outside and green spaces to lie in the sun. You can walk along the beach or along the wooded cliff tops, where people gather in the early evening to watch the sunset. And if you do need sustenance on your walks there is a couple of lovely beach cafés and sweet village with shops and cafés. The hotel itself is clean comfortable and very spacious. The rooms with seaviews are stunning I would recommend these especially in the winter months when it doesn't get too hot, as the balcony is a lovely places to sit in the sun to have an early morning drink or watch the moon setting over the sea. There is an ample fridge in the room which is handy if you like to make your own lunch. You can buy everything you need at the little local shop. In the restaurant the staff went out of their way to cater for us vegetarians, and provided gluten-free rolls on request. I have been to this hotel several times now and can always rely on having a peaceful and restorative time. …
We were attending an amazing Dru Yoga retreat at this lovely big hotel right on the beach. We shared a twin room with ensuite and a balcony overlooking the beautiful outdoor swimming pool and glistening blue sea and blue sky and sunshine. The rooms are simple. Beds very comfortable and shower great! Separate toilet from shower which was handy. The ladies came every day to clean and tidy. Food was plentiful and delicious. The local bread and fruit was just fantastic. Entertainment at the weekend was fun. A lovely young guy playing all the favourites which got us all dancing one night. Village shop stocking all sorts of things you might want. Lovely cafes within walking distance. Beautiful walks along the beach or cliffs. Indoor heated pool, sauna and steam room was a wonderful treat in the evenings before dinner. All in all this is a simple comfortable hotel but had everything we needed for a very relaxing retreat.…
