We would recommend this hotel! The central location is great! We took the train to Evora and then a taxi to this hotel, which worked well. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was professional and friendly. The breakfast was delicious!

Easy to find but the last couple of turns can be difficult as the back streets are quite narrow. However, we parked on a Main Street and walked two blocks to the hotel. The front desk staff were competent, friendly and helpful but rather than paying E6 per day for parking, we parked outside the walls at a free parking...

The hotel is in a great location: withing a 15 minute radius you will find all main attractions, shopping and restaurants. Parking is available however we would recommend parking at the front of the hotel on the street as trying to get to the back to park can be a pain depending on the size of your car. Staff are...

we are becoming used to small hotels in Europe. This place was fine, clean, .functional. Staff was helpful and spoke English. Could not be a better location. A little noisy at night from the neighborhood when the window is open. We were in an annex and there was a little balcony and alcove in the common area.

We found this hotel as a rescue from the hotel we have previously booked and we weren`t able to stay there because of the noise from the street. We moved to Santa Clara Hotel in the middle of the night. It turned out to be a cosy, quiet and comfortable hotel right in the old centre od Evora. The staff...

The personnel was predominantly friendly The room was so small that you had to climb over the bed to get to the other site of the room/bed. There was no fridge/minibar, but the room had a water kettle for some nice black tea in the morning. You also get two teabags, sugar and one small bottle of water every day...

Great location, easy to walk to most of the places in the Old Town. Very friendly and competent staff. We stayed in a separate second building from the check in desk and breakfast room. The building we stayed in was very quiet - we felt we had the whole place to ourselves. Rooms are certainly adequate and comfortable, a bit...

The Santa Clara used to be a Best Western but has since become independent. The location is of course, just as good as ever, very central, and the level of service is fine. Rooms are functional and the bed itself very comfortable for a good night's sleep, but the problem is that noise from other rooms may be intrusive. (I...

Room was very comfortable, on the ground floor of the hotel's annex building, just around the corner from the main hotel. Excellent location. Breakfast was very good with the range and choice offered and we loved the fresh self service juicer available. Coffee was okay but not brilliant. Only real hiccup was that the wifi in our room kept dropping...

There is no "free parking" the roads are narrow and only limited space around the hotel. You have to feed a meter and drag your cases down a hill if your car doesn't fit. Free after 1:30 pm on Saturdays and on Sunday. Basic rooms are small and dated. Mold in bathroom. Excellent breakfast and you are close to everything....

“Parking is a problem. If you can drop your bags off and find a park then walk back to the hotel. You can do that in reverse when leaving. Evora is best explored on foot, you don't need a car. The streets are very narrow so there is plenty of opportunity for bumps and scrapes which if you have a rental car can be very expensive. It is best to w leave the car some distance away. Ignore the rating above for the swimming pool and spa, they are not relevant. I couldn't undo the ratings!”
