Dear Dramaqueen. Portugal is not a huge country, so Faro Airport to Evora is approx 2hrs 30 min by car. How long to spend in Evora really depends on what kind of a trip you are on. Evora is a very pretty walled town, and within 30 minutes' drive you can also visit Monsaraz, a wonderful hilltop fortified village; prehistoric dolmens; Europe's largest artificial reservoir etc. And if it's cold outside, snuggle up in this beautiful hotel. Enjoy!
