We stopped here for one night on our way to the Algarve. It is a lovely hotel and the staff were very pleasant. The problem was that I noted just after our arrival a loud noise of a spin dryer, this seemed to go about every 30 mins. My husband went to investigate and the hotel laundry with industrial washing machines was just above our room. We weren’t too bothered as it had stopped by the time we had returned from dinner about 9.30pm. Alas we were awoken at 3.50am with the spin dryer going again. I couldn’t believe it. I can tolerate most things but not being able to sleep due to the din created by the hotel is unacceptable. On a positive note the hotel building is very attractive and the chap on reception could not have been nicer

We booked there in our way to the Alentejo just for resting one night.
It was ok, clean and average price, with the breakfast and Wifi included.
It is located in the outskirts of Elvas with an easy access to the high way.

I've known this hotel since it opened, even though I haven't been there for a few years. We returned to Elvas and chose this hotel, a disappointment. - the room had a strong smell of sewage, something horrible and annoying. We contacted reception who tried to do their best, but this was nothing more than putting an air freshener in the bathroom, which was clearly insufficient. It was so bad that we woke up in the middle of the night to the smell... Terrible

I only went to the restaurant. Half a poorly roasted chicken with dry potatoes, price €21.00. To call an employee you have to shout. In the bathroom, there was a strong odor of urine. I already knew that the service was bad, but I hadn't been there in recent months.

Wonderful! Big weekend! I took the opportunity to spend the holiday in Elvas, and chose to stay at the varchotel, it was one of the best hotels I stayed in, good breakfast, with little variety, but with a lot of quality, I had the privilege of meeting Andreia, what an example of a professional, quick check in, with all the detailed information, always available to help, breakfast there was Andreia always with a smile on her face, very communicative, good conversation, friendly. Congratulations VArchotel for having professionals like these today, with this availability for the company. I will definitely come back! Impeccable restaurant, the chef gives him applause, and the food is wonderful!

Comfortable and renovated rooms. Friendliness of the staff. Good breakfast. Outdoor area with swimming pools for children and adults and children also have a trampoline at their disposal. Restaurant with good food at affordable prices. The only negative point was the bad smell coming from the bathroom plumbing.
