We were expecting the B&B to be much smaller than it was and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely home we were welcomed into. The room we were assigned was very spacious with a large ensuite bathroom. Everything was clean, in neat order and tastefully decorated. It overlooked a well landscaped back yard with splashes of color from primroses and...

Mary is the sweetest hostess you could find. The rooms are spotless and confortable. The breakfast is simply fantastic! I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming to this area. You could not feel more welcome than that. Thank you!!!

Top class B&B ***** (Leaba agus bricfeasta) As an Irish man,I never had such a top class Irish breakfast. The room was great with a below average price. Lovely setting. The owners kept it spotless. *****

Small B&B, human size. We were lost and the host helped us on the phone and waited for us until late. Full Irish breakfast and nice fruit salad. The room was clean and clear, the beds were big and soft I loved it ! 10min away from Rossaveel to take the ferry to the Aran Islands :)

Immaculate comfortable B&B. We were on a cycling tour and the breakfast set us up perfectly for the day. Probably the best B&B breakfast I have ever had. All of the rooms seemed to be of a similar standard and very quiet so take your pick.

I have never seen such an immaculate B&B!! Rooms were very comfortable (lovely bed) and spacious. Bathroom spacious and shower wonderful. Hosts so accommodating (let us change rooms to better suit our needs). Lovely chatting with them. Breakfast was fantastic! Town was charming, and the coral beaches amazing.

Traveling off-season in the west of Ireland can be a challenge as many places close for the winter, but fortunately the Tourist Office in Galway managed to arrange a B&B booking for me at Carraroe House. My two nights here were very nice. Mary greeted me upon my arrival and put me in Room 1, overlooking the main road. The...

I'd recommend this B&B to family & friends. It's clean, comfortable, centrally located, & breakfast was delicious. Our room had coffee/tea facilities & flat screen TV. Complimentary shower gel in bathroom. Worth a stay if in the area.

I went to An Cheathrú Rua to practice my Irish, and I chose Carraroe House based on reviews here. Mary and the other locals were very patient with my Gaeilge Briste. The breakfasts were great, she catered for my being a veggie and did fried eggs and beans, and nice home made soda bread which you can smell being baked...

We booked in with Mary and the beginning of last week as we were going to see our daughter in the Gealtacht in An Chearthru Rua, Co Galway. I have to say we never stay in B&B always hotels and we were more than pleasantly surprised by the standard of accommodation and also have to say it was much higher...
