This place is great! We blew through Swakomund because it was, well, boring, and a bit lame. Headed for the sleepy town of Henties to get a head start for our northern adventure. The owners accommodated us at last minute. If you're expecting pretentious lodging, this isn't the place for you. If you're seeking a down-to-earth experience with a warm...

Arrived unexpectedly, but were welcomed by the staff. We were later introduced to the owner, Louis. We had a great room, lovely bathroom and wonderful hospitality. At breakfast Louis gave us very good advise as to where to stay on the road ahead. Thanks for a lovely stay in Henties. Style Lyne!!!!!!

We ended up there by default as we were looking for a place to sleep overnight The hosts are wonderful, the dogs will take you for a walk to the beach ,beds comfortable, very quiet. Interesting even if you don't fish :) Made our stopover in Hentiesbay worth it

If you are looking to venture beyond Swakopmund and explore the Skeleton Coast, then we would strongly recommend that you consider the Fisherman's Lodge in Henties Bay. If you are interested...

Hentiesbaai looked like a ghost town and I was pleasantly surprised at the warmth of Fisherman's Lodge. Louis and Anneke are great. I had the best meal there - Louis is a former chef from a Michelin star restaurant in Europe. The rooms are very comfortable and the garden is lovely. Do try the dinner if you can.

Very close to beach. Perfect for amateur fishers. You have to try the dinner. Best meal we had in 12 days namibia (louis is a former michelin chief cooker). Extremly good pricing for namibia. Breakfast various and better than standard hotels

Stayed at Byseewah B&B. The manager is catching fresh fiswh daily and also knows how to prepair this perfectly. Nice atmosphere and great couple that is running this B&B. Secure parking.
