Firstly the good points , the hotel is in a great position a stone throw away from the Menin Gate. Also the staff are really friendly and a credit to the hotel.We...

We booked a regular room here as had stayed before but there is obviously a different meaning of "regular" as there are only three in the hotel and ours was a poky, internal double with a door to bathroom that cant shut completely as it meets the window!!! The view is of a brick wall less than 5 feet away...

The bar area and dinning room are very trendy and modern, unfortunately when you enter the stair and corridor areas things aren't so great, the lift wasn't working so we walked up to the the third floor. The communal areas are very tied and poorly lite. Our room which had a bedroom and lounge area was very disappointing. It had...

Enjoyed our stay very much , great location, staff exceptionally helpful , rooms clean and spacious , breakfast , which was included was extremely good. All round a great place to stay. We arrived on a Sunday, so staff was limited, but you would not have known as every request was met and the man in charge was working to...

The hotel has a great location close to the Menin Gate. We were told the Hotel is in the process of being redecorated. Our room while older style was very comfortable, a good size & clean. The bar / dining area is lovely, beautiful decor. The breakfast was superb, such good quality & we were disappointed that we had not...

Stayed overnight en route to Germany to see Last Post Ceremony at Menin Gate. Very friendly welcome from helpful receptionist. Bar closed at 10-30pm unfortunately, but a good selection of traditional continental breakfast.

An old hotel, but clean and well-kept. Easy to find, car parking right outside to unload and check-in, and the secure car park is an easy 300m walk through the Menin Gate itself. Our room was large and traditional, very clean, light and airy. Breakfast was included, and while basic was substantial. Across the square is the Flanders Fields museum...

Stayed here with a mate during battlefield trip. The hotel is handy for Ypres being just across the street from the Cloth House. They have their own secure car park although this is a bit of a hike away. Rooms are comfortable but a bit tired. Clean enough and the bar/bistro doubles for breakfast in the morning. Bar staff are...

Were to start, reception not manned in evening or early morning, bar closed early. these things i could have accepted for our one night stay, but waking up to find bedbugs on us is NOT ACCETABLE. the room no 38 was dark & slightly smelly. I video'd the bugs on our phone & took several down to reception at about 5.45...

Very central hotel - but rooms vary (ours was in dire need of refurbishment but had good mattress and good shower head; door to bathroom broken and door blocked by radiator when closing!). Lovely breakfast with (almost overly) friendly waiter. Checking in was abysmal - the receptionist started checking us into our three rooms and then stopped to take 2...
