Room was not ready at 3PM as promised. Hotel is run down, staff surly. Parking was good but at least 500 meters from the hotel. Location is excellent, but this hotel needs renovation and new management. Breakfast was OK. Elevator tiny and monopolized by housekeepers.

We stayed two nights on a visit to the battlefields of the Somme. The hotel is centrally located and a short walk to the Menin Gate, the Cathedral and some really good restaurants. There is a secure car park but that is a 10min walk away. We could manage that but we had two less able people in our party...

This hotel is the worst hotel I have every stayed in. I paid and requested for a double room and they put me in a 'single box'. I complained and they did put me in a bigger room. When i used the shower it nearly overflowed and when I removed the plug, there was so much black mouldy stuff gathered...

We were a group of 4 motor bikers and had reserved spaces in the garage. The garage itself is appx 400yds away, it's secure but has a leaky roof so if like us your on bikes then don't leave your helmet on the bike. On checking in there was no one at reception and the contact phone number displayed didn't...

Arrived outside the hotel on 28th July & was suitably impressed with the outside of the hotel, very pretty (as are most buildings in the area). The entrance foyer was Beautiful , the bar area trendy & the downstairs toilet facilities clean. We were met by the manageress who was polite & informative but the receptionist was another matter. Must've...

There is absolutely nothing positive to say about this ghastly hotel. It absolutely spoilt our stay in Ypres. The rooms were falling apart with door handles missing off bathroom doors, wall light fittings with only the wires hanging out of the wall, bathroom had broken tiles and black mould along the edge of the bath. Room not serviced as we...

I have stayed here several times before, very basic rooms ,one time I stayed you could see through the ceiling into the room above, however I digress. We asked for the newly refurbished rooms on the second floor which were nice and roomy and still in good condition. When we booked in we were advised from the outset that the...

We stayed a couple of days at the Regina to see the Menem Gate and make a pilgrimage to a relatives grave in Kleve in Germany. We picked the Regina not quite at random but almost and what a fantastic surprise. The staff and the welcome was effuse and multilingual. The room was in the older part of the hotel...

There is no doubt that this hotel has a superb location - we had room 22 (pics on website) - and the view is stunning- one of the best we have had. But - no air con so if you open windows the sound of vehicles on the cobbles outside is loud and prolonged. The fountain outside is turned on...
