It was like the neighbors were entering your room instead of theirs. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The corridor was creepy, bad lights, like a scene of...

Stayed here with a group for a beer festival, hotel ok but the carpet was so dirty/stained I couldn't quite believe what I was seeing! The shower was disgusting and did not drain properly. I would NOT stay here again!

The breakfast is typical continental, the rooms are small but if they are used for nothing more sleep there are no complaints. Some of the hotel rooms have been refurbished, while others have not. The staff...

Visited Albert II (formerly George V) in March 2010, attending the carnival, we have stayed here for years as the location is very central and ideal for shopping, bars and restaurants. They've worked hard since last year and the take over to improve the facilities and service and it showed. The staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing was...

I travelled to Ostend for a Beer Festival trip last Friday (17th Oct 2008) with my Grandmother and friend. We travelled from Swansea to stay at what is now know as Albert II hotel (previously George V) for two nights. The hotel bar and breakfast area was quite nice, looked as though it has been recently refurbished, however the rooms...

Went on an all inclusive package with leger to this hotel. There was no room at the Royal Astor, this was supposed to be a suitable alternative. First impressions are grim - you walk into the 'foyer' which is lit red lights - you think its a brothel! So up to reception - the lift or 4 flights of stairs....
