I visited this hotel this weekend for two nights. Friday we arrived and went to reception. Got our room key and went up. Originally my bf refused to stay, he said it was disgusting. I persuaded him that it's only somewhere to lay our head and we won't be in the room long. Anyway we went to a bar for 2 drinks and headed back for an early night. TV signal was crap, although had some English channels. Our beds were clean at least but crap pillows. The shower was clean although could do with being updated. Sat we got up, had breakfast which was edible. We went out to a festival and returned back to our room to find our things had gone and someone else's belongings in our room, I went to reception and the bar man was working who had to call the female owner. They had got mixed up and thought we had left without taking our things. They were all packed and in a secure room. (Nothing taken) they apologised for the mix up and put us in another double room. If we were thieves we could of emptied this other room of someones things! Sunday we checked out and agreed we would never be back. Smells of smoke, the older female blonde manager was fine to us, I found the young girl quite rude. Barman was a nice bloke and friendly. Their idea of a double room is two singles together, which isn't too good to cuddle with your partner. 😉 I think the bar was over priced. Personally I won't be back. Although I would visit ostend again as the beach is clean and nice.

This budget hotel is great value for money. It is close to the beach/promenade and also to the town. It has a 24 hour bar (not busy or noisy at all during our visit). Our room was very small but clean and quiet, the bathroom was badly in need of refurbishment but again was clean and the shower was very powerful. Breakfast was OK but the juice was watery by the time we got down at 9.30.
There is free wifi in the bar area and we were able to get it in our 1st floor bedroom.
The reception staff were very helpful and gave us options regarding parking in the town. They recommended that we drive over to the area next to Maria- Hendrikapark, which has lots of free parking and is only a 15 minute stroll through the town back to the hotel
