Owners are very welcoming and helpful. Updated rooms. Breakfast buffet is more grand than a standard continental buffet. Good healthy options. Always kept well stocked. Brugge is a wonderful town, have been there now three times. This is a great location within easy walking distance to bus station and to the central square.

This is a terrific option if you're looking for a small, owner-operated place in a perfect location. On a quiet side street up from the main square you get the best of both worlds. I was welcomed with a wonderful map and overview of where things are, what to see, etc. He also helped me up with my suitcase (no...

This hotel has an ideal location, right in the middle of the Town. We had a family room, which is in a separate annexe to the main hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, even a sliding door between our room and the girls room, which the girls thought was fantastic. We have been to Brugge...

This was our first trip to Bruges and it was certainly a delight. The hotel was very comfortable with a welcoming, warm, and helpful staff. Room was small but the clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great way to start each day. Would definitely recommend this property.

I can not recommend this hotel enough if you are looking for a quiet get away in this beautiful place. Me and my girlfriend were at the end of our trip having visited Berlin and Amsterdam the week previous and coming to Bruges and staying at the Walwyck was a tranquil end to our excellent adventure. The hotel is a...

Just back from another lovely weekend in Bruges. The B&B I had originally booked informed us they were closing so I had to find an alternative - the Walwyck was it. It was reasonably priced and in a great location. Upfront correspondence with the hotel was excellent and very swift. We had booked a small double. The stairs are typical...

Walwyck Hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Bruges - overlooking part of the city's beautiful waterways - and is a very cosy, quiet place to stay. The staff were approachable and friendly, assisting with any queries we had and very helpful. The room we had (small double) was very neat and clean, a good size for what...

Stayed for a long weekend in January. Although the weather wasn't great the hotel was lovely. Clean well equipped rooms. Being english the only criticism would have been not having tea making facilities in the rooms. The breakfast provided and included in the room price was varied and all tasty. It also included helpful staff who made fresh coffee and...

“There's no elevator and after the 1st (American 2nd) floor it is a small curved stair case - and the top floor could be warmer on hot days (fan provided in room). I stayed in the standard room at the top which was a great value and very comfortable - they do have more deluxe rooms overlooking the canal though!”
